Is there a date that a decision appears? Or does this work differently?
The idea of adding some decisions, like create León and Castilla as titular kingdoms feels more accurate for me too... In my opinion, the vanilla's Asturias kingdom depicts an utopic domain, far away from the historical fact...
Regarding Beja and Algarve, I won't be adding that as an option I'm afraid as IMO it would bloat the mod. I recommend either using the create Portugal decision once you control those duchies (which will incorporate them as well), or using the steward to incorporate them de jure.
A reconquista mod sounds great!
I might consider making a mod that adds some sort of reconquista advantage, but on my playthrough with this mod I found it very easy to defend against the moors and retake Iberia.
Something simple like an acceptance modifier for requesting money from the pope if your capital is in Iberia might give the AI the advantage they need, which would be very easy to implement.
