Everyone, there is a mod called Last Will. It currently works and does a similar job to this mod. It does cost Prestige but you can mod the files to make it cheaper or free.

I see the screen that the 2nd screen shot shows, where you can + or - titles on each heir. But the buttons don't actually work. I think this mod is not completely gone it is just a minor UI issue.

Anyone have a work around?
FYI I did update that is a few posts down,

Alas not working due to the update, I'll do it manually waiting for a good news from this number 1 mod ! Like a king or emperor heir not be able to centralized his domain, so stupid it's not added to vanilla ck3 xD

1.13 broke it. Champ fought on for so long against the updates, but alas, it finally met its match

After the character dies, a title I didn't want to create is spontaneously created and my kingdom is divided into two separate kingdoms. How can i solve it?

The statement below worked, changed the version value to the current version which you can find in game launcher. Actually not sure if you even have to do all that, I didn't try running the mod without making that adjustment, I downloaded the mod then changed the version value.

FYI there is a setting you can change in game rules, it doesn't save the change from new game to new game even if you save the setting to a preset.

Here's how I updated to work with the latest version:
1) In the CK3 launcher, go to the "All installed mods" tab, click the (...) button to the right of this mod, and click "Show in folder"
2) Open "descriptor.mod" with a plain text editor (e.g. notepad)
3) Change the supported_version value to "1.10.*" or whatever the latest version is (I think simply "1.*" should work as well but haven't tested)
4) Restart CK3 launcher and test in game

@ТоЬЫэЯ™ Would like your updated version, the others are right about that. If you want to wait after all of this time, can you at least, please, show us how did you update it ? Really want to play with this mod and update it myself if possible.

please update this. the oriignal author likely has no interest in updating this. just do as this other modder has done https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2429466948 with a defunct mod. leave a message here pointing to the new updated version.

Kinda based. If you haven't updated your mod in over a year and don't give any inkling that you are going to do so, there's nothing wrong with updating the mod on their behalf and removing it if they do eventually decide to update it. You're doing everyone who wants to use those mods a service.

Not a fan of taking someone's' intellectual property without permission. I had mods myself i haven't updated for almost a year nor actively commented on the mod page, till i recently played the game again.

@ТоЬЫэЯ™ since this mod has been abandoned for over a year with no comments from the developer I'd say it's fair game. I'm dying for a good succession fix that actually works!

Until it's updated, there's a mod called Succession+ that incorporates something very similar to Testament's function. If you don't want the extra stuff it offers, Testament is still the way (also it's not compatible with ongoing saves), but it's a decent meantime buffer.

This does not appear to work. I died with 2 sons, it asked me which I wanted to play as but never let me divide the counties between them. Is it supposed to do that?

Does this not show female children? Because I just died and the only children on my testament were my two sons, meanwhile the matriarchal culture I had made just went and gave all of my counties evenly to all of my daughters

No because testament had to be higher than knight manager. You have to test it like it did by starting a new game, making some 90 y/o character with children, and fast forwarding until he dies and you can see the the testament menu.
