Bit random question in my Sound Set mod, but use whatever tool like Photoshop or GIMP if you mean textures. In the game, use the color tool in the garage or from the details tab in the vehicle window.

I don't have mod for them but my generic eu wagon set has custom sound set for freight and passenger wagons

Steam trams have default clacking sounds actually, so no they don't.

I didn't saw them in the demonstration video. Steam trams have the steam sounds too?

Ah thx for the fast update ;-) yeah lua is'nt very simple. i also have some problems with that.

I didn't checked every line of your mod.lua so o didnt notice that you also set some new soundsets.
Your mod.lua should be work fine ich you check first if a soundset is in the mdl avalaible and then change it, as eat1963 pointed it out.

Thanks for reporting! I've sent new update that reverts the mod to previous settings but with improved sounds.

I know sound sets will overwrite defaults but for example the Chinese Faw has truck_old sound by default and I wanted to change it to modern. I didn't change sound sets for vehicles that already had proper setting in use.

Also the the exam in the mod.lua is pointless because you simply replace a soundset with a certain name with a soundset with the same name.
Either way, the game will overwrite the vanilla soundsets with yours once the mod is activated. This whole check in the mod.lua can be left out.

Checking the conditions when a soundset is changed does not work like this.
You only check for the name of the mdl without considering that there are also assets that meet these conditions. This either leads to a crash if the assets have no "roadvehicle" block at all. Or the assets are humming away, which is also not right.

Just to be clear, these changes involve the vanilla game vehicles only?. or do they also include the vehicles from your TP2 mods?.
