Also, can you add the original playmat as an option? The new playmat doesn't look good, it's a bad upscale (the text is all warped and ugly). I'm guessing the Rei playmat doesn't have a good scan available.
Didn't want to litter the comment section.
I'll publish mine once I write the annotation.
Much love <3
More importantly though, you have my full permission to publish a localization of Tragedy Looper! Should you do the expansions later, know you also have my permission for those, too!
Enjoy playing! <3
I've made a localization of Tragedy Looper (not the expansions, though) based on the assets of your mod.
Don't know whether it's neccessary or not, but I'd like to request a permission to publish mine to Steam workshop. I'll credit your mod and Devantar's gorgeous gameboard, of course.
Here are some screenshots in case you're interested:

@ThatOneGuy, Bingo! I'll have that switched as soon as I am able to get back home.
Please note that this generator could result in some logic errors in regards to certain Main/Sub-Plots later down the line. My advice would be to tweak these scripts as you gain more experience with the sets. Especially the more advanced ones.
If you want to eventually download some custom scripts, you can also start from here: https://github.com/Redless/script-collection
To answer your second question; for the most part, yes. However, the human brain works in mysterious ways and we sometimes tend to forget about things we've already done in the past. It really boils down to if the Mastermind remembers how the scenario actually goes.
Tragedy Loopers is a very replayable game with some creativity. There used to be a site for custom scripts called tragedylooperscripts.com , but the site has unfortunately stopped working since a few months ago.
If you want to go about making your own script cards, there was something called 'loopcard-master', but I can't seem to find it anywhere online.
cont.
I understand that it's scenario based and from what i can see there is a lot of them, but once we run out, is that the end?
also you cant be a protagonist in a scenario you were already the mastermind of right?
You might need it. X]
You're very welcome, though! Tragedy Looper is a wonderful game. :D
going off of the website, it's the background, but I wanted to make sure.
Thanks a lot for the mod btw! My group has been craving something like this
I sent you a friend request through Steam. I'll send you everything through a zip file, there. :D
But I'll tag you if I ever plan on trying that.
Looking forward to those!
Shame it's extremely hard to find people who want to play this in my friend circle (aside from one person, but he would also prefer to be the mastermind..)
Oh well, always can start making my own scripts once we run out.
Also, small thing, it seems in the latest version you left Basic Tragedy set on the table (covering First Steps) instead of in the bag as always.
(I hope those bug reports aren't too annoying..)
Oh, also, I'm not sure how easy this is of a fix, but base game, scenario 8 has a misprint on the mastermind card.
The Informant should be just a Person (according to Zman games, on bgg forums) as there can't be two Conspiracy Theorists.
Thanks!
I assume you don't play on adding any scripting to this mod?
Something like they keybinds to drop tokens (like the Spirit Island mod has, for exameple) would be really neat, but I know how complicated adding such things is.
As a part of that, if I ever spent the time to figure how to add this, would you be interested?
Is there ever a situation in the rules where running out of particular type of token matters?
Because I was wondering if having infinite bags for the tokens would be better, since then you can just delete them at the end of the loop.
It says to treat the Extra cards as Curse cards for this set. It's not a separate card type.
Cosmic Evil expansion. See for example Player's Handbook page 3 - "Curse cards".
I think specifically used (only?) in Prime Evil tragedy set.
Am I missing something with the Augmented scripts.
If they choose to do so, they should should append a “+” to the Tragedy Set’s name on the script cards, for example “Basic Tragedy+”. Adding these rules generally increases the difficulty of a script, so do so judiciously.
In an augmented Tragedy Set, an additional Subplot, Role, and 2 Incidents are available. When creating such a script, choose 2 of the now 8 possible Subplots. The Incidents may be added as any other Incident would be. The new Fragment Role requires some additional accommodation.
Is there anything in this mod as a reference for this, or should I just make a little notecard that explains the Fragment, subplot and incidents?
