Still looking through the patch a bit, but I'll mention that I personally ran into a setback. I seem to have gotten a infection in my right-hand the other day, so I’ve had to deal with seeing a doctor, getting blood work, x-rays, and the whole ordeal. Haven’t been able to use my main hand properly either, so that’s slowed things down. Sorry for the delay.

It really shouldn’t be that big of a patch - just making it compatible -but I’ll probably want to make my own changes to the DLC’s content at some point. Like, Heinrich already starts crowned in vanilla, but as people of history know - his crowning itself connects into a lot of the mod's content + the investiture work i was working on. 😅

I'm assuming its this mod that is preventing my new Holy Roman Emperor from being Anointed with the new DLC since Catholicism doesn't have the right doctrines.

My guess, which could be right or could be wrong is figure out which mod is conflicting with this and then stop using it cause that sounds like a mod conflict.

I have a question: When a cardinal dies, no new cardinal will get apointed. The college has always five cardinals who died a hundret years ago. What can I do?

How do I appoint a caravan master? Everyone in the court of a Pope is considered a memeber of the clergy(At least i think so) and thus I can't name anyone my caravan master

The consanguity game rule isn't working, I set it to vanilla and still got the more strict no relatives at all doctrine. Fixed via savegame edit to the middle of both worlds, allowing only cousin marriages.

quick question: do the popes and other bishop cardinal things learn latin? i use latin literacy, another mod that adds a feature for the pope and his courtiers to easily learn latin, however, i dont know if this mod already had that. also, the minor crusade decision is bugged, it doesnt give you options for any targets.

Trying to fix a bug where the mod seemingly works fine, but all the elections for new cardinals are for non-Catholics. So game ends up breaking about 40 years in because all Cardinals are non-Catholics. Only mods alongside are Dark ages, Community Flavour pack, and EPE.

Crusader state didn't work for me, I occupied all of Antioch and the decision wouldn't let me click it.

There is no College of Cardinals

I play this on my steamdeck in 1066 but I can't find the College of Cardinals anywhere

As much as I love this mod and how it makes playing Catholic fun, I do think the cardinal selection process could use a little tweaking, namely how being the same culture as the pope gives you a whopping 200 score! While the medieval college favored Italians, there were plenty of non-Italian cardinals throughout history. All my games I hardly ever see any non-Italian cardinals without player interference, and you can forget about any non-Italian popes! I feel like reducing it to 100 would provide a little more realism and balance.

Works for some, doesn't work for others. For those it doesn't work with, it's probably just their mods list or load order messing things up. Only way for you to know is to try it yourself and see what happens.

Why isnt the "start minor crusade" or whatever decision working? does it have to do with diplomatic range? that would make sense since im playing as great britain, starting from william the conqueror. but still

*BEWARE* There is an annoying and game-breaking bug where my ruler is abdicated/deposed randomly, for no apparent reason (no wars, no angry vassals, no schemes to depose) and as of removing this mod, it hasn't happened for 10 in game years. I'm not sure exactly what in your mod's code is causing this bug but my playset is 100x better without it.

FYI this mod was at the very bottom of my load order.

How do you choose a court priest successor under Free Investiture? I click on the empty Successor box, but nothing happens.

I found a work-around for the game crashing when clicking 'lets vote'. If you have the game paused and leave the 'lets vote' message open, go to the escape menu and switch character to some other ruler, then click the still open message, the most likely papal candidate becomes Pope and you can then switch back, unpause and continue as the new Pope.

Same. Game crashing when the pope dies and I click let's vote.

Game keeps crashing when I click to vote for a new pope - it is the only mod I have installed. Any ideas?

Could you guys please put your mod list in order? There's a lot of conflicts that can happen.

If in doubt, try having it as the last mod you load.

I had that problem when I added the mod to a saved game. It worked on a new game.

how to solve conclave not working. Whenever conclave starts papabile does not get chosen and conclave bugs out.

Problem: My (catholic) great holy wars are led by a papal legate, the duke of Pisk, and duke of "The Papal Army". Since this duke is jewish (even if I murder the current duke after converting the heir, another new jewish duke appears out of nowhere instead) the Crusade always ends with us winning militarily, but then there being a proclamation that the rabbinic warriors won against the warriors of Islam... and no crusader state (neither christian nor jewish) is formed. Since Catholicism's fervor is at 100% at the moment, another Holy War will be declared just days after the last war ended, but the Head of the Papal Army stays the same!
Could this be a problem with the mod since it adds features such as the papal legate to the Papacy?

The option to request a declaration from the Pope has expired, and I have spent my devoutly but have not declared it

What is the point of the minor_crusade_religious_war, compared to the ck3 minor_religious_war ?

Both seems similar, with the same conclusion, except the vanilla minor_religious_war is updated with more stuff.

To be more specific, I can't pick the bottom counties because they are behind the buttons to give, and the button to quit the decision

I have an issue with the decision to give a county to the clergy (in the decision tab). The box to select a county is minuscule, so I can't choose, only click on "give".

Also, there is in the files in landed title, "01_other_titles" which I imagine wants to replace the k_papal_state to remove the #male_names, however it's my understanding that modding vanilla titles don't work like that. Also, it's lacking the newer lines added for nomads
"can_use_nomadic_naming = no" and
"can_use_nomadic_naming = no" (yeah it's written twice in the vanilla txt... probably an error on the part of the devs...)

Why can't I declare crusades when playing as the Pope? I tried it on two dates, the first and the last. There is no button or solution anywhere. As I understand it, the game itself generates crusades, and you can't start them yourself? If so, then what's the point of playing as the Pope if you can't declare crusades...

I would like to report a bug: I cant set the Catholic faith to have Avunculate marriages (i need this for my Habsburg run)

Does this also add content for Orthodoxy or just Catholicism?
