does it still work?

This mod does not work for my server. It was installed on both the server and client side, still did nothing.

@RayTcharlze Have you tried planting plant species x?

doesn't work on ichtyornis, they keep instantly destroying metal items, and now they cannot be deleted with the usual command... at least please update the guide to include the command to get rid of YOUR version of the npc.
been harassed at night by this and no amount of dilos and other dinos could get rid of it...

Is this server side only or do the clients need it too?

Used this mod for over a year, and I cannot put into words how awesome it is not having your gun taken from you mid fight, or your food taken just before you need it.

Can't wait to try it, just lost a bunch of stuff to a gang of the little pego bas-terds.. Turned up the dino spawns and holy crap, 5 to 7 raptors per pack and 5 pegos will hit you all at once and then scatter like flies... if they don't kill you first.

It works for me, but only works for vanilla versions of the dinos.

Can the @Author please verify if this works or not? @Vasul It would be nice if you could answer and let us know if it's not updatable anymore, or if you plan to, or what's going on with this? If someone posts in May that it's not working anymore, and nothing updated after that, a lot of users may not want to use this now, like me. Wish I could, but not unless someone verifies it's working, or I see an update.

It works but now I have huge swarms of them flying around, which looks great from a distance but very annoying when 15 birds are flying into your face... Not sure how this can be fixed. I'm worried it might be this causing micro stutters on my server

Been using this since it was created, it's one of our top 3 mods, and still working amazingly.
For those struggling, is it possible you're using another mod that is altering these creatures? This will not affect Pegos or Ichthys from other modded sources. If you're using mods that spawn their own versions of either, I'd suggest using the game.ini command to remove them from your game completely. Mod conflict is the most common source of issues.

This isn't working for me on both single player and non-dedicated. I even moved it to the top spot in the order and it still doesn't work. I know it once used to work but something's changed, both still attack and steal items. Any ideas?

You are doing the Gods' work. Where have you been during all my nearly 1000 hours of playing this game on the pc?

Not exactly what I was looking for... the stealing itself isn't a big deal to me, it's quite funny..But..sometimes my frozen buddies get killed cuz pego-sh****head thinks cryopod is yummy...

If there's any way to prevent them from eating stolen things (or just cryopods) I would prefer such a mod, it would be more immersive Thanks in regards, if you may think about that suggestion

Love the mod, thank you for making it. Was another put out for ichys and another to reduce pegos stealing, but not both in a single mod, so, thanks again soooo much.

@Zichfried Something like a bait mod, which is actually just a temporary single use spawner that can be placed and spawns a single dino of a specific type with a random delay to simulate "the hunt" or the suprise when it pops right on top of you just after you place it..... Just a thought :-)

This is not related to this mod, but I see you are an active and skilled modder. I want to suggest a mod. Only if you have the time and if you want to do it, for sure! Is insanely rare to find creatures like Alpha Tusos/Mosas (for boss tributes), Giganotosaurus and Titanosaurus (among other "1 each 24 hours" spawns for singleplayer and non-dedicated servers as a normal session lasts like 4-6 hours, even less. So achieving the 24 hours it's... exhausting. If would be beautiful if you could make a mod that make that kind of creatures to spawn in less time, like 5-6 hours or so?

It should work in single player, that's how I did my testing outside of the dev kit before publishing. If you tried doing the command to specifically kill just the pegos/ichys that command actually changed a few weeks ago and needs a 1 at the end to take effect now which I've updated in the description.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but does this mod work in Single Player? I downloaded it, added it to my mod list, and did a dino wipe, but they still seem to attack me.

This mod works well for me. I noticed did not work when loaded high on my list. Having it at the bottom seems to do the trick.

One of two things happened. Either you didn't dino wipe or the mod isn't loaded because it's impossible for my modded pegos to steal if they're wild.

i just installed this, went outside and a Pegomastax stole my spyglass!
