Well about permission here's a response they had to a similar mod dst ost remade in which they say they give permission for remixes of their songs in other projects.

I know we likely wont see you do something like this in the near future but I would still recommend listening to the tracks I still think they hold up to this day and again this mod is a classic for the original don't starve and don't starve together so it would not hurt to give it a listen.

Ah well in that case, I'm not so sure. I don't know if the author of that mod would appreciate me using a version of their music in my own mod, plus I think it makes sense for me to stick to the Don't Starve OST for this mod, at least for now. I won't say no though.

I messed around with the mod to try and add it a while ago but couldn't get it to work, which is why you may see an option to change when the music plays in the mod configurations (it doesn't do anything though).

You could go to his YT and put it on loop lol

is there a way to have the music constantly play, not just when you are working? that would be nice so i dont have to chop some wood to listen to nice music while exploring :)

Small issue, when fighting eye/twins of terror, it uses the seasonal boss theme for the season you fight him in. (chiptune moose/goose theme in spring, chiptune deerclops theme in winter, ect)

now im porting dst to the snes and nobody can stop me

That would also be a mod for eight or sixteen bit sprites and the game will not be recognized at all! Great mod I like!
