I think this mod would be worth the time to fix up, though if something IS indeed broken, It's a novel little flashlight alternative.

The mod is still working for me but it can be a bit finnicky with my addon lists
sometimes, I get a white cross across my screen and behind it, I don't seem to see any illumination.

to bind it to toggle is just bind key nv_togg

I feel a little silly now, while I didn't exactly fix the issue, I can just bind the toggle, so it's really more of a convenience thing than a real issue

isib also completely turns it out before the goggles actually go off, probably a problem with how darkness is detected then? or possibly *where* darkness is detected, as the eye trace mode does work, it's just a tad fickle by nature

seemingly works fine for me, sensitivity controls for auto enabling it seemingly change nothing though, some pitch-black areas just refuse to trigger ID

Gmod updates broke something again, most likely. If this persists, I will just delete the mod because I can no longer update it (thank Steam, and it's updates breaking netcode on old OSs)

I know this white\black screen effect is a super finnicky mf. It happens when you try to change in-game graphics settings (any of them) midgame, ot happens when you try to use too many dynamic lights, it happens when... all the damn time, honestly. All I know is that it stopped happenning when I yeeted Apha Pass amount to 0. Well, it still happens on settings switch.

Very late, but a possible fix to the "white screen" effect could be to enable the bloom effect in the NV settings. I was getting a white-ish screen at Alpha Pass 5, but enabling that stopped it completely. You can take my instructions with a grain of salt, though.

I have also gotten that error, presumably due to a similar addon conflict.

So... I playedaround with the function that was giving that error and couldn't recreate it.
Whatever that error you've got here is most likely due to certain mods conflicting with that one.

ive been using console commands like a dunce for the past few days because I didn't realize there was a menu, i was playing around with settings, but i was doing it in the most idiotic way possible
