Hi, is there a way to change road markings (props/decals) to actual white instead of the grey colour it is. I had changed the colour to white in the colour pallet but the marking still looks grey and not white! Thanks
CiobbyFx 7. juli 2023 kl. 7:55
@AccidRainn it should be fine.
AccidRainn 28. maj 2023 kl. 23:06
Hello, Can I use this fine with Prop Control ? Or is there an alternative to this I missed ? I'm using Prop Control , Visibility Control, Line tool, Tree Control Thank you 👍🏻

Hello, If I copy and paste a prop where I changed the color, does the copied prop keep the changed color or go back to the original color?
Bendecido por Zully 5. dec. 2022 kl. 7:27
Hello, i´m having issues when loading my saved game, all the props that i painted resets the colors to the originals, my game is not saving the new colors that i set and i have to re paint all the props every time that the game starts from 0.

@Everyone I've updated this mod to fix compatibility with latest version of MoveIt. Also compiled this mod against latest version of Cities 1.15
NA4U 1. okt. 2022 kl. 17:53
does this mod only allow painting assets if that asset has a color map? if it doesn't it won't work?
Chamëleon TBN 22. sep. 2022 kl. 9:24
Use Extended Managers Library and Prop Anarchy instead - there this is fixed.
Justin Credible 20. sep. 2022 kl. 13:57
Please make a mod update for P&P DLC, because Prop Painter: Revisited is causing a problem within Move It. Every copy/paste action leeds to an error message and according to Quboid this has to be fixed in Prop Painter: Revisited, not in Move It.

Can this, or another, change lit window color? I hate the light green in the windows at night, immersion breaking :)

Creating this mod for anyone who hasn't made the switch to your PA/EML mods...I would think that alone qualifies for a charitable deduction, come tax season next year. Thanks for your workshop uploads!

thank you for all of your effort!

@Quistar, thank you for all of your effort!

@Evil.lguana The way the original prop painter designed its data format is flawed, but I guess we have to live with it, since its out already. Your old prop painter wasn't having problems saving color, it was having problem loading, since before it could load, it's already crashed
Evil.Iguana 26. dec. 2021 kl. 10:00
FYI, the first time I loaded my save with this all my props were colored strangely (decals were almost invisible, ploppable surfaces were extremely white). However, the problem corrected itself on the next load. I had used the old prop painter previously (though not recently as the colors would not save) so perhaps there is some strangeness with the way this one copies the old settings. But regardless, I'd recommend to anyone experiencing strange colors to just save (in a new slot of course) and reload your city and see if that fixes it.

@grantbaker1025 Use Move It Mod, and select a prop. Then click on more tools, and select the painter picker. A color panel should pop up. Then click a color of your liking, and the selected prop should change to the designated color. Please note that there are some props that doesn't support custom color, but most should.

How do you use the made I'm a little confused. NOTE I did turn the mod on
Quistar  [ophavsmand] 23. dec. 2021 kl. 18:35
@sOul There's only one possibility of this happening, and that is original Prop Painter mod saved all your prop color as black. So when this mod loaded the old data, it also painted the props all black. Glad you found out and painted them all white. White is the default color for most props.
s0ul 22. dec. 2021 kl. 9:19
Solved! After painted all the props and decals on the map to white, I saved and closed the game to desktop. After reloading the save, all props and decals I place are now normal and working fine.

Thanks again, appreciate it!

Just tested it, two small issues happened, don't know if it just with me...
When I first loaded my save with this mod on, all props and decals on the map were painted black, those decals became invisible too. So far no big deal, I selected all decals and props on the map with 'Move It' and painted them white, fixed. But the real issue is all prop or decal that I place on the map now are black too. I have to place it and paint it white. You have some idea of how to solve this?

I double checked the incompatible list and I don't use the old 'Prop Painter' and yours 'Prop Anarchy beta' (yet), but I use the old 'Prop and Tree Anarchy'.

Beside this little issue woks fine like the old one and its great to again been able to paint decals to match various types of situations while detailing.

Thanks so much for all your work and effort in the workshop Quistar!

@Quistar Thank you so much for version 1.1 Appreciate it
rlas 21. dec. 2021 kl. 6:34
@Quistar I will test that at some point and will give feedback just to be sure :) I think it will work tho :)
leftbehind 20. dec. 2021 kl. 13:25
Fantastic! v1.1 makes this perfect replacement for the older prop painter. <3
brunoglopes96 20. dec. 2021 kl. 13:14
You are a legend. Thank you so much for this!
Quistar  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2021 kl. 12:55
@rias This mod shouldn't cause problems for other mods
Quistar  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2021 kl. 12:54
@Kyanite well, I decided to implement the functions you mentioned into this mod
rlas 19. dec. 2021 kl. 15:57
Does this version also not brake when a "mod" is created such as a theme in Theme Mixer 2? Cause doing that on a savegame prevented the old Prop Painter from working entirely. Thank you for this hard work :)
Quistar  [ophavsmand] 18. dec. 2021 kl. 23:16
@Kyanite Yes, that particular code is not good for the framework, so I omitted it. You can however select multiple Props at once with MoveIt and repaint them. I will however consider adding a color picker in the future, so you can copy colors
Kyanite 18. dec. 2021 kl. 10:40
When you copied and pasted something with move it, the old prop painter mod kept the custom colour of the object and carried it to the new one. This new prop painter doesn't do that, which is kinda frustrating. Other than that I have no qualms. Nice work!
RubyRobbins 18. dec. 2021 kl. 8:14
Thank you so much! You're a superstar! The old one being broken frustrated me, as I really need this mod. I'm so looking forward to your Prop Anarchy. I appreciate everything you do <3
LDtailor 18. dec. 2021 kl. 4:08
Thanks for the reply Quistar. I went to Prop Anarchy page and saw it's not there anymore. Removed comment here and asked there if it was solved. Meanwhile you answered here. Going to delete the comment there. Lol. Good to know it's not a problem.
Quistar  [ophavsmand] 18. dec. 2021 kl. 4:02
@LDtailer Thanks. As to Railway Replacer, it was a false alarm, and is compatible with Prop Anarchy and EML
LDtailor 18. dec. 2021 kl. 4:00
Thank you Quistar...again. You've been adding so much to this game. Tree anarchy is a wonderfull mod and joins features that were dispersed in several mods. Plus you always have an eye on optimizations and i do feel that my fps got better with Tree Anarchy. In order to use it, i uninstalled original prop painter and it's very nice to have it back and better.

Still, i'm looking forward for Prop Anarchy, as it seems to be very close for wide usage around community.

At some point i also read that you may adress buildings in your Anarchy series. Building Anarchy had a very nice feature which allowed for either choosing flattening terrain or not on placement. If you ever going to work on this, maybe you can take this note as a possible feature.

Many thanks for your hard work.
