Yes, it allows you to go through both the "wall" side and the "door" side.
I'll be adding a diagram to make this easier to understand the next time I do an update.

Does "moving through a blocked door" (like wizard can, for example) allow you to move from the "wall" side of a blocked door, or only from the "door" side?

Our group has been loving this game, it's easy to pick up and very fun. We've had a few instances where the table isn't large enough for the world later in the game, particularly with 3-4 people. It would be great if it were updated to be on a larger table.

This is the easiest TTRPG to pick up and learn that I have ever played. Super fun and super simple. It has so much potential too. This game deserves a lot more love.

Cool. Thanks for your reply. I'll let my group know about the first block rotation. I think the majority will still rule it out but it does make it interesting. I hope you can do a physical release some day I will watch for it in stores.

@KaosKnite
I'm glad to hear that you like it!

Unfortunately, there is no physical release yet. I plan to pitch it to a publisher or launch a Kick-Starter after I finish my current project. ( https://waxheart.info/ )

Q:Can the starting block be rotated?
A: The "START" room CAN be rotated.

This is indicated in the "Rule of Thumb" in the rulebook; "If the rule's don't say that you can't do something, you probably can!"
Not only is this legal, it's encouraged . Making it hard for other players to return to the exit door is a huge part of the advanced strategy of the game, and why the Wizard class see's a lot of play at the competitive level.
If player's are uncertain about this ruling, I'll be sure to add it to the rulebook under a new F.A.Q section in the next major update.

I just started playing TTS recently and discovering games to play with my family in different states. So far this game is a favorite for us. I search the web to see if it is available as a real world game but no luck. I see that it's a prototype game so if you know this Michael Wolf or are him, I just wanted to say I would buy this game IRL if available in stores. I would give this game a 10 star rating if I could...so an award will have to do. :steamhappy:
We had one argument that took a majority vote that I think should be clarified in the rules.

Q:Can the starting block be rotated?

Some argued you can, while others argued you can't. Personally I feel that you can't rotate that block due to the fact it can make the game hard to beat and all rotations should be restricted to only the added rooms. Just my opinion though.

@VertigOwl (This really needs a reply function)
That sounds like a TTS issue that is unrelated to this specific game. I'm guessing you might need to clear some caches.

A quick google search suggests to disable mod caching:
Configuration > Game > mod caching

Hey i was excited to teach this game to my friends but something bugged out, making all the characters and room tiles turn into black and yellow "static" where nothing loads. no matter how many times i uninstall it or even uninstall the whole TTS it still doesnt work. any ideas why?

@Benefaction (I wish you could reply on this)

I'm glad you like it! I've been aching to do an update, but I've been completely wrapped up in another project.

It only costs 1 action to use all 3 keys to open the exit door. You cannot interact with the door at all unless you have all 3 keys.
I'm going to message you directly so we can see if there's something I can do in the rule-book to clear up this confusion!

An amazingly fun yet simple board game, :monsterbold: bravo!

one question I had with my group was whether or not once a person with three keys could spend two keys to open the door halfway, then wait until next turn to use two more actions and leave. If that's the case, could someone else with 1/2 keys come over and unlock the final lock and leave without having the necessary 3 keys to attempt to leave?

A genuine pleasure and perfect for fantasy nerds.
