From an amateur's perspective, I think this was a blind spot. Thank you again.
Sorry for the basic question, but I now understand it better. Thank you.
This is how I first understood the function of this mod.
This MOD is designed to help railway amateurs avoid excessive curves and excessive connections with other tracks when laying tracks.
In other words, I thought that by using this MOD, it would help me create appropriate curves and intersections like those actually used on railways.
However, the more I read, the more I began to think that this wasn't the main point of this mod, but rather that it was a mod to make the switch look nicer.
I thought this type of mod was for laying the tracks neatly, but is it actually a mod for making the overlapping of tracks neater?
When it comes to tracks where trains go from one lane to two lanes, it's possible to lay the tracks freely in the game, so I thought that a mod like this would adjust the degree of curvature to make it look more realistic.I've been re-reading it for three or four hours since yesterday, and I'm starting to think that the original purpose of this mod was to make the overlapping tracks look neater.
I think this is probably a very basic question.
Is this a mod to make the shape of the overlaps (so-called switches) look nice?
This is too basic a question to ask a mod creator, so if anyone notices this question, I would appreciate it if they could answer it.
Darf ich dich nach einer Variation dieses Mods fragen? :)
Ansonsten großartige Mod!
I also like the newly added crossings as well, makes the building of complicated turnout areas much simpler.
Question: Is the length of the . and the N segments the same? Using the "info tool" mod says it is.
For example, if I build a crossing between 3 tracks, I supposed to be able to build it from any direction in the order of !> + X.> + N + !> (reverse), but instead of N I should be able to use . too because it should be symmetrical. Not sure if this is intentional, the only difference seems to be that the . can be locked down while N is always unlocked.
I'll keep looking for a video tutorial.
is there a map with Switches created with the kit ?
I would like to have example to learn how to lat proper switches.
Cheers
