i desperately want someone to update this.
Geki Nov 16, 2023 @ 4:55pm
Please update this! This is by far the prettiest Mod there is for Stellaris and I need it!
cykablyatgaming.ua Nov 9, 2023 @ 2:05am
This looks slick as hell, has anyone made an updated version?
Richard Feb 13, 2023 @ 5:26am
@BubonPioche this is what he said

"Seems not to work with the most up to date version of Stellaris.
As I am currently not interested in the game I won't update any of my mods for now.
Feel free to reupload any updated and fixed versions, just credit me please.
Feel free to fork, and reuse any of their components, including my icons, again just credit me please."

Long as you give him credit he does not care. Long as you give him credit.
BubonPioche Feb 12, 2023 @ 12:03pm
@Nanderty
Would you be okay with someone taking over the mod to update it, until you work on it again ?

I found that the progress bars icons bug has a easy fix. Open interface\sprites\nanderty_enhanced_ui_progressbars.gfx file and replace .lua to .shader
effectFile = "gfx/FX/progress.lua" to effectFile = "gfx/FX/progress.shader"
effectFile = "gfx/FX/progress_startend.lua" to effectFile = "gfx/FX/progress_startend.shader"
State of Europe Dec 6, 2022 @ 6:32pm
no problem homie i already put it in bug reports too
Marcus Arabela Dec 5, 2022 @ 6:32am
@Nanderty - Thanks for your creation of this mod and good luck with University!
Nanderty  [author] Dec 5, 2022 @ 6:26am
Sorry for not responding that long, it seems that I have accidentally unsubscribed this comment section.
@ Marcus Arabela, @Shoff
Thanks for the kind words
@Shoff
I think what you mentioned are features of the Camera Expansion:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2638617892
See the feature list there.
@Vecho
As far as I remember it doesn't matter.
@Makk
Yes, I am sorry, but I have lost interest in Stellaris for now and started University, therefore I use the little spare time I have left for gaming on games I enjoy more right now. But that doesn't mean I will never come back.
@Marcus Arabela, @State of Europe, @Anus
Thanks for reporting, See the very top of the Description and the top of this message.
And please post bugs in the Bug report section next time, so I have all of them organized once I (hopefully) come back.
Anus Dec 4, 2022 @ 7:51am
Was working great in 3.5, now the 3 status bars for starbases, etc are all black using 3.6
State of Europe Dec 3, 2022 @ 12:30am
Yeah, bugged on 3.6. I posted it in bug reports
Marcus Arabela Oct 16, 2022 @ 8:10am
@Nanderty - In system view and galaxy view, the order lines used by this mod are not displaying in Orion v3.6.0 Beta.
Marcus Arabela Oct 16, 2022 @ 3:47am
I've tried this with the Stellaris v3.6 Orion Beta, and this mod has a few issues with working properly. If Nanderty, the mod author still around?
Makk Oct 15, 2022 @ 6:57pm
oh man it's been half years...
Vecho Sep 14, 2022 @ 9:42pm
What is the load order with UIOD ?
Shoff Aug 6, 2022 @ 9:09pm
Hey @Nanderty! I just realized that a UI feature I was about to write a micro-mod for is actually already in your Enhanced UI Project mod.

While testing this mod to see if the features I want are working on the latest Stellaris version (3.4.5 Cepheus), I noticed this mod also increases the WASD pan speed significantly, which happens to be another QoL feature on my wishlist that I was intending on writing an AutoHotkey script or mod for. I have looked all over for a mod that increased pan speed &/or scroll speed, and all of a sudden I serendipitously stumble upon it here.

So, I was wondering... Do you have a full changelog or feature list? Because now I'm wondering what other hidden gem features you have already worked out. It seems like my UI taste is quite similar to yours, so I'm definitely curious.
Marcus Arabela Jul 5, 2022 @ 4:30pm
Thanks Nanderty! I'm really enjoying using this UI mod.
Nanderty  [author] Jul 5, 2022 @ 12:00am
Hello everyone,
it will probably still take a month or two, maybe more until I have the time and interest to make a big update.
I will still try to keep this compatible with the most recent game version and to fix any bugs, so feel free to report any problems in the bug reports discussions.
Nanderty  [author] Jun 15, 2022 @ 4:25pm
@woof
Sorry for the late response.
You have to go to the file /interface/~nanderty_enhanced_ui_mapicons_planet.gui
and change the font in line 233 to a smaller one.
you can find other fonts in the files of https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2288053878
SiCall Jun 10, 2022 @ 10:29pm
Is there any way to make the planet name text/icons smaller? Been trying to poke around in the files and cant seem to figure out where that would be configured.
Nanderty  [author] May 18, 2022 @ 2:53am
@Richard
Thanks!
Richard May 18, 2022 @ 1:43am
@Nanderty
It's all good have not seen anything wrong happen.
Nanderty  [author] May 18, 2022 @ 12:10am
@ThePhantomX64
Just try it, I don't have the time to play a lot of stellaris rn, but I will come back in a month or two.
ThePhantomX64 May 17, 2022 @ 2:54pm
No but just curios of the mods work in 3.4 so I don't have any visual bugs since before this mod came out, there was another that did some graphic changes on the icons and since it was outdated, it had a bug where the icons where misaligned and would have icons sorta in place on the wrong stuff.
Nanderty  [author] May 17, 2022 @ 12:05am
@ThePhantomX64
Are there any issues any of my mods have in 3.4?
ThePhantomX64 May 16, 2022 @ 10:33pm
When are the mods going to be updated to 3.4?
Nanderty  [author] Mar 7, 2022 @ 9:47am
@Makk
Thank you!
I will most likely work on it again in May or June, don't want to promise anything tho.
Makk Mar 6, 2022 @ 7:01pm
plz asap. really love this mod:)
Nanderty  [author] Mar 3, 2022 @ 3:22am
@Makk
The first thing is known, same plan as stated in my last comment.
Concerning the archaeological site, check the known issues above.
Thanks for your feedback!
Makk Mar 3, 2022 @ 12:06am
thanks, also the hull\armour\shield satus under system view is too big, and the archaeological site icon seems not change after they've been excavated.
Nanderty  [author] Mar 2, 2022 @ 11:25pm
@Makk
Thank you for your feedback, you are right.
I will address that too, once I start working on the mod again.
Makk Mar 2, 2022 @ 9:02pm
in 1080 resolution
Makk Mar 2, 2022 @ 9:00pm
nice ui. but i found systems' font size under galaxy view way to big.
Nanderty  [author] Jan 24, 2022 @ 7:40am
@Geki
I am happy you like it!
I currently do have neither the time nor the motivation to do a lot for this mod and its collection, as I don't even play stellaris rn.
I will probably "come back" in june/july with some big updates and another addon, but until then I will just try to keep this mod compatible with stellaris updates.
Anyway I most likely won't make an entire GUI overhaul, but I might have a look at the outliner.
Geki Jan 13, 2022 @ 8:39pm
This is beautiful and reminds me of the similarly beautiful UI/UX of Endless Space 2. Thank you very much for providing this mod to the community.

Any chance you'll mod the rest of the UI so I can unsub from Dark UI ?
corsairmarks Jan 2, 2022 @ 5:54pm
Some people prefer the minimalist look. Also, the icons Nanderty made are larger and more representational than the built-in ones - I'd contend that increases readability. It also increases the font size which is generally a win for readability.

It doesn't have to be your cup of tea, but don't spout factually-incorrect things.
Marcus Arabela Jan 2, 2022 @ 10:51am
@Evanduril

I'm guessing you don't like this mod? Well, you always have the option to not use it and move on.

Stellaris is awesome to me, whether modded or not. Hope you are enjoying the game.
Evanduril Jan 2, 2022 @ 2:51am
So, basically, you've turned everything to be less readable and harder to recognize? Bad UI/UX design.
Nanderty  [author] Dec 30, 2021 @ 1:59am
@Marcus Arabela
Thanks a lot!
Marcus Arabela Dec 27, 2021 @ 8:31pm
Found your series of UI mods while searching for a UI mod that minimizes the System Map and Galaxy Map icons/Info.

I've used them for the first time and am truely amazed! It gives me the feeling of almost like playing a new game of Stellaris. Paradox should seriously consider adding your UI to the base game!

Using your UI mods, the game's info is better laid out and, for me, conveys the game info far better in format and in a less cluttered manner. Totally enjoying it's use in my game. Thank you!

@p6kocka
Thank you!
p6kocka Dec 1, 2021 @ 9:03pm
I am playing on 1920x1080.
Nanderty  [author] Dec 1, 2021 @ 1:36pm
@p6kocka
Hello, I am planning on rescaling some stuff and add more stages of adaptive scaling.
Unfortunately I don't have the time for that currently.
I will most likely do that in a couple of months tho.
May I ask you on what resolution you are playing?

Hello. Thank you for the mod. Is it possible to make the ship / stations etc icons and description in system view smaller? Or at least not that long..?
Nanderty  [author] Nov 28, 2021 @ 7:37am
@nuwaa, @Richard
Thanks a lot!
Richard Nov 26, 2021 @ 5:30am
@nuwaa is also essential mod for me.
nuwaa Nov 26, 2021 @ 4:50am
Your UI design is really beautiful.
This mod has become a essential for me.
Thank you for excellent mod!
