Seems like its not immediately obvious to people picking up this character and trying it that you need to use the anti gravity mode to actually recover properly off stage by holding down wall jump. I love the character but its definintely one you need to get to learn the intricacies of considering how fast they are.

This character is really fun bonus points for making the character driving shy guy one of the few good mario characters.
