I don't know if you still read these or if you're still around making mods but thank you for making my Dragonborn's adventure a little better. :)
I am, however, having problems with the chair crafting stations. They are both blocked by invisible things to trip over, and when I do sit down... carrot explosion! CARROTS EVERYWHERE!
I don't see anybody else mentioning this, so it might just be me. =/
Loved the giant book on the doorstep. =D
Olive has a nice outfit, please don't change it to something 'nicer'. Rugged & simple makes for a good enough immersion. Esp for someone working on the farm!
Look forward to future updates
George.... - Thanks. I was thinking of giving her something a bit nicer to wear, what do you think?
All is done with placing stuff. Just finishing off so that you will be able to marry then take wife and child (maybe children) to this home without having to use a seperate Mod. So far only works with the farmer (Olive) set so that you just ask to move to "her home". I know how to set it so it would work with all spouses but that needs a Quest plus other stuff = time so maybe another upgrade but not this one.
I will add a marker so that second child can live there but sleep on the floor. If I keep adding more furniture like a second bed the house fills up making it harder for NPCs to walk around.
Because of the marry / live here thing I was thinking of three possibilities.
1 - Just works with Olive. You can take your own spouse there at time of next big update just not yet.
2 - When you enter house first time you choose the sex of the Farmer (kind of Olive or Oliver).
3 - Two Farmers, one male other female to choose from.
Also, let me just say I LOVE this house. So many homes have the word "farm" in them but I wonder if the creators even know what that means. They have zero ability to plant anything or the plants are predetermined by the modder. Many of the few that DO have plantable mounds have far too resource intinsive items both inside and outside of the home. This place looks like a simple family farm with simple furniture and layout. Thank you for getting the point of a FARM, lol.
Today I added a second floor with a bed for one child, two extra beds looks too cramped and I think the kids would get stuck trying to walk about. The house type from the outside is that used by the General Store in Riverwood.
Stable: I was thinking the same, I'll add it tomorrow.
I had already added 2 mannequins and 2 weapon racks in the Cellar. 5 weapon racks in the main house. Added "stuff" to make it look more like a home. More storage.
With an extra floor needs some time to make it look lived in, started that but got bored, then I need to test it ie try to break it.
Couple of days until upload I guess.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR STORAGE. ALL I AM DOING IS MOVING, NOT DELETING CUPBOARDS ETC SO YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR THINGS DURING THE UPGRADE.
Enjoy :)
D2 = Diablo 2. I have created a new world to build the mod and am now creating what is needed for Act 1. Each Act had a base with Merchant, Blacksmith etc. Act 1 had what is called the "Rogue Encampment".
No more updates for a while. Working on the D2 Rogue Encampment now, hands up who knows what that is :)
NPC AI. Plan is to set her to spend the day at the Farm then go to an Inn at night, I didn't have enough spare time this morning to do more than I have.
I'm glad you like the mod. I will upload to Nexus eventually but I think it best to do a bit more work on it first.
