This mod is great, I love the farm and it's so useful for my alchemical needs. I especially love the 'little' welcoming book, certainly caught my eye so much so that sometimes when I'm walking around I'll drop it on the ground for some humor and then pick it back up.

I don't know if you still read these or if you're still around making mods but thank you for making my Dragonborn's adventure a little better. :)

Does not work with Skyrim SE.

How do you marry Olive? Do you just need to wear an Amulet of Mara because that isn't working.
Don MRichieri Mar 16, 2015 @ 4:12am
Goooood MOD!! Congratulations...
Reticent Gleam Nov 9, 2014 @ 2:59am
Beautiful. I liked it before, but now... wow.
I am, however, having problems with the chair crafting stations. They are both blocked by invisible things to trip over, and when I do sit down... carrot explosion! CARROTS EVERYWHERE!
I don't see anybody else mentioning this, so it might just be me. =/
Loved the giant book on the doorstep. =D

I have to say that I'm loving the changes. No problems with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions or more plantables mods. Works great.
Fred Sep 24, 2014 @ 9:56pm
Not planning on changing her clothing have worked on farms in real life and know how difficult it is to try and do a dirty job with good clothes LOL. Have a few pics just not sure who can see them when I upload them. Not the brightest on a pc love the mod though it is a must have every time I tidy out my game

As a RL farmer, I like mods like these. Only wish I could have some chickens & nests for them. Seems silly to grow plants without good ferts available. ;)

Olive has a nice outfit, please don't change it to something 'nicer'. Rugged & simple makes for a good enough immersion. Esp for someone working on the farm!
Fred Sep 22, 2014 @ 11:54am
Thanks it is a great mod been using it for quite a while now, as a matter of interest or not I dress all my female followers in ImperialAsha outfits for their home outfit, maybe a bit posh but lovely to look at
Look forward to future updates

Has anyone found me yet? I am in the Mod! Yes, I really do look like that. Actually I am in a few mods just hanging about trying not ti get in the way :)
Thord  [author] Sep 22, 2014 @ 11:37am
Fred - Fixed the bed problem. All beds were owned so your people could not use them. Part of the wife and kids thing I am working on so that it will work like vanilla/hearthfires homes. Now beds are all unowned, I will keep in mind your needs as I keep working on things.

George.... - Thanks. I was thinking of giving her something a bit nicer to wear, what do you think?
Charlie Fi5hykins Sep 22, 2014 @ 11:27am
Brilliant work, looks great! Checking it out now my friend! ;)
Sir George Sep 22, 2014 @ 3:12am

Fred Sep 21, 2014 @ 2:11pm
Sorry the usual in game followers use the stair ok it must be just the ones created by AFT or a conflict in my game
Fred Sep 21, 2014 @ 11:43am
Before the upgrade I had two followers living there using my home is your home, now the bed is upstairs but they will not go upstairs. I also use AFT have quite a few mods loaded but none effecting that area
Thord  [author] Sep 21, 2014 @ 4:43am
Sometimes I see tiny things I want to change. For example I just sat on the Alchemy Chair and the plate fell off the table. Fixed that so that now it cannot be taken or moved. Uploaded the fix. I won't write everytime I fix such a small thing unless it will make a difference to you.
Thord  [author] Sep 20, 2014 @ 1:25pm
The bird in the garden to toggle effects. In my wife's game it is invisible, anyone else getting that problem?
Thord  [author] Sep 20, 2014 @ 1:00pm
Version 2 done and uploaded.
Thord  [author] Sep 20, 2014 @ 2:01am
Thanks :)

All is done with placing stuff. Just finishing off so that you will be able to marry then take wife and child (maybe children) to this home without having to use a seperate Mod. So far only works with the farmer (Olive) set so that you just ask to move to "her home". I know how to set it so it would work with all spouses but that needs a Quest plus other stuff = time so maybe another upgrade but not this one.

I will add a marker so that second child can live there but sleep on the floor. If I keep adding more furniture like a second bed the house fills up making it harder for NPCs to walk around.

Because of the marry / live here thing I was thinking of three possibilities.

1 - Just works with Olive. You can take your own spouse there at time of next big update just not yet.
2 - When you enter house first time you choose the sex of the Farmer (kind of Olive or Oliver).
3 - Two Farmers, one male other female to choose from.
LavenderLycan Sep 19, 2014 @ 6:21am
Those changes sound awesome. It's so nice when modders check in at all, so don't worry about the reply time.

Also, let me just say I LOVE this house. So many homes have the word "farm" in them but I wonder if the creators even know what that means. They have zero ability to plant anything or the plants are predetermined by the modder. Many of the few that DO have plantable mounds have far too resource intinsive items both inside and outside of the home. This place looks like a simple family farm with simple furniture and layout. Thank you for getting the point of a FARM, lol.
Thord  [author] Sep 18, 2014 @ 11:20am
Oh, I might make Olive marriable. Would only take 3 minujtes to do so why not?
Thord  [author] Sep 18, 2014 @ 11:18am
You two must be reading my mind.

Today I added a second floor with a bed for one child, two extra beds looks too cramped and I think the kids would get stuck trying to walk about. The house type from the outside is that used by the General Store in Riverwood.

Stable: I was thinking the same, I'll add it tomorrow.

I had already added 2 mannequins and 2 weapon racks in the Cellar. 5 weapon racks in the main house. Added "stuff" to make it look more like a home. More storage.

With an extra floor needs some time to make it look lived in, started that but got bored, then I need to test it ie try to break it.

Couple of days until upload I guess.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR STORAGE. ALL I AM DOING IS MOVING, NOT DELETING CUPBOARDS ETC SO YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR THINGS DURING THE UPGRADE.
LavenderLycan Sep 18, 2014 @ 8:22am
I was thinking maybe one single child's bed just to the left of the door when you enter. A small chest for them could go on a shelf just above the bed. I always drop a bedroll in that space for a companion to sleep and it fits fine. Of course the companion always sleeps in the bed next to me in spite of my giving them a spot to crash.
Morwania Sep 18, 2014 @ 7:14am
What about a stable ?
Thord  [author] Sep 17, 2014 @ 2:48am
Sorry for taking so long to reply, been on holiday. I was making quite a few Mod changes which I will upload soon, after heavy testing. I can't think of a place to put another bed without replacing the current house with something bigger, what do you think?
LavenderLycan Sep 11, 2014 @ 1:08pm
Any chance you could add a child's bed for compatability with the Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod?
Malkun Aug 31, 2014 @ 9:57am
Your Welcome M'lord :DDD
Thord  [author] Aug 31, 2014 @ 4:06am
Thanks Domhnall. I will add that as a mod conflict. Always good to know of conflicts before subscribing.
Malkun Aug 29, 2014 @ 4:02am
couldnt get in*
Malkun Aug 29, 2014 @ 4:02am
This mods conflicts with Legacy Home House, i just subscribe to this one and when i went to get to it it was mingled with Legacy House and i could get inside the farm house. if you Want the farm or Legacy home, choose one and unsubscribe the other.
Thord  [author] Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:17am
.. and again. Added two more chests in the cellar. Ages since I looked at this Mod I am amazed you weren't complaining.
Thord  [author] Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:03am
Oops just spotted a few plants floating just above the ground. Fixed.
Thord  [author] Aug 28, 2014 @ 4:52am
Updated with a cooking pot which can cook Hearthfire recipes. Looks the same but I replaced what was already there with a custom pot by the fire. A few other small things and some flowers just for looking at in front of the house.

Enjoy :)
Thord  [author] Jun 23, 2014 @ 12:18am
A good idea. I will add it or more likely make a normal looking cooking pot which can cook Hearthfire recipes. Has to wait at least a week though, I am travelling until then.
Thord  [author] Jun 21, 2014 @ 12:59am
It is yours. No need to buy it.
paizuriprincess Jun 9, 2014 @ 2:38pm
It good. I like Olive. It's a very nice place.
Thord  [author] Jun 9, 2014 @ 12:23am
Thanks Wolfman. If you use all of the GYO mods then you use more than me. I only use Pelagia Farm and this one, wife is the same :) Of course I have copies of the others but they are set not to load!
wolfman Jun 8, 2014 @ 12:22pm
nice little mod. have most of your GYO mods this one is good because I can stop by here before going in and out of WR and and hit peligia's farm at the same time. just a short run to the ciderhouse and beer mod i'm using. that i hit every 3-4 days. thumbs up and fav'ed it
Chris B Jun 3, 2014 @ 5:47am
Sounds good! I am sure it will be interesting when finished. It's always smart to be prepared for these sort of things. Modding is, after all, very tricky when it comes to legal matters.
Thord  [author] Jun 3, 2014 @ 4:02am
I know what you mean. With everything I add I am always thinking of the copyright issues. Won't be a problem though, Diablo 2 is similar to Diablo 3 in its extremely linear questline and even the places you visit which I think would be boring in a mod. So, close enough for the D2 fans not close enough to upset Mr Copyright :)
Chris B Jun 3, 2014 @ 2:57am
Sounds cool! Howoever I have only played Diablo 3. Would that be legal though? To port another game into Skyrim? You'd probably have to call it something else and name the mobs differently. For example, intstead of Diablo you'd call it Hiablo for instance. Sounds interesting though.
Thord  [author] Jun 3, 2014 @ 12:01am
Diablo 2 - Some changes to areas from what was in D2, Act 1 camp attacked by an army of undead to start the mod, mobs more or less Skyrim NPCs rather than custom baddies, Vanilla game no DLCs needed, etc. Oh, and trying to make sure that it can be safely uninstalled.
Thord  [author] Jun 2, 2014 @ 11:56pm
Storage in the mod will be fine, that would only be an issue if I deleted a chest etc which I didn't.

D2 = Diablo 2. I have created a new world to build the mod and am now creating what is needed for Act 1. Each Act had a base with Merchant, Blacksmith etc. Act 1 had what is called the "Rogue Encampment".
Chris B Jun 2, 2014 @ 2:36pm
Sounds good! I will clean out my stuff though I didn't put too much in due to the pending update. Many thanks for the fixes! Sadly I don't know what D2 means but methinks this will be a thief/assassin hideout mod?
Thord  [author] Jun 2, 2014 @ 9:16am
Updated again. Olive now has working AI. Music and interior ambient sound added/updated. Moved stuff around in the basement for better ergonomics. Hatch from living space now says "Open Cellar" instead of "open".

No more updates for a while. Working on the D2 Rogue Encampment now, hands up who knows what that is :)
Chris B Jun 2, 2014 @ 7:24am
P.S. Glad to hear about the NPC's AI. That would be great! :) And thanks for takng the time to read my commetns and respond. Not too many mod authors do that.
Chris B Jun 2, 2014 @ 7:23am
No worries, Thord. Glad I could be a help! :) It's a great easy-to-use mod with no frills and I like that. The basement is no biggie but would be an added bonus if it got fixed. Also the music would be nice. Just now I noticed that when fast traveling to it you don't hear any background music outside the house either. Like when you are in the garden. Again, not a big deal but it would be nice.
Thord  [author] Jun 2, 2014 @ 6:43am
Thanks for the comments Chris. To be honest with you I added the cellar as a quick favour for my wife with little thought about making it look good so I will make a return visit and make it a bit better. I didn't know about the music, thanks for pointing it out.

NPC AI. Plan is to set her to spend the day at the Farm then go to an Inn at night, I didn't have enough spare time this morning to do more than I have.

I'm glad you like the mod. I will upload to Nexus eventually but I think it best to do a bit more work on it first.
Chris B Jun 2, 2014 @ 6:26am
............I could even fix that myself with console commands and Pocket Empire Builder mods if you want. No biggie. Last but not least I noticed that there is no music when I enter the house, only the basic sounds when doing crafting and storage, etc. So it would be really great if you could update it with player home and/or inn music. Otherwise it feels rather disjointed and too quiet if you get my meaning. Otherwise the house is just dandy and I absolutely love it. I forsee myself using this mod for a very long time!! :)
