I added a bunch more shipsets to supported submods - so many that Steam limits me on the characters in the description, so check out the collection

@AT Forgotten Queens is supported by this one

about when I started!

I heard (rumors) about all the stuff like Warp Drive and Wormhole Drive, and "Army Attachments". I was quite sad when none of those where there... but, still had fun!

I do like the Star Trek mod's terraforming, where you can only terraform worlds into a similar one (and it requires adding things). To cool a molten world, you have to put sun shades. And, you can only cool it, not add an atmosphere. Next, you have to add in atmosphere generaters to be able to put in a bareley breatahble atmosphere! Then, strengthen the magnetic field and more atmosphere to make an earth-like planet! It's quite complex, but fun!

Sadly, it adds so many other techs that it lags my game out... ah well!

still, terraform stations being required, seems like an interesting, albiet somewhat annoying, mechanic

@CTH2004 way back when, in the earlier versions, you had to build terraform stations and I believe more techs unlocked certain kinds of terraforming. Honestly it's from before I played the game (I started at 2.7).

@AT Sure, point me at one (or more) shipsets and I can add submods to give them a terraform station. I usually pick the same appearance as the mining or research stations if the shipset doesn't have a model specifically for terraform stations.

Updated for 3.6 "Orion." The existing version worked as-is with the game, but lacked a couple of nit-picky features when used alongside one of my other mods.

Iamgoda_ As long as ZOFE doesn't use terraform stations in a different way, this mod should be compatible. It's otherwise independent of things that would be influenced by other mod code, barring serious syntax errors in the other mods.

@ubet glad you found it! I was trying to fix my typo with an arrow, but I should probably have used a different characher. I see how that's unclear. I'm always happy when people are willing to help troublshoot.

As for that other mod, I'll take look later and see if I can implement a workaround.

not sure why conflicts with yours as you say you created a unique identity.

@ubet The terraform station with beam assets are something I defined exclusively for this mod - other mods wouldn't be using them unless you were somehow also defining a "terraform_station" common/ship_size or using it a a replacement for mining stations.

Hmm its definitely only when this mod is active with others as said it was working as should, must be some conflict with another mod update I will continue to use the trial and error on off approach to find the cause.will peak inside your mod later maybe help me deduce the culprit.

@ubet Load order shouldn't matter for this mod. It only adds new entities for terraforming stations - it doesn't affect mining stations at all. No vanilla entities are changed. The script to spawn the terraform stations runs exclusively when a planet begins terraforming.

It is possible another mod added a beam effect to mining stations. If you can give me your mod lit, I might be able to determine which one.

waaaay back before 2.0 ..heck even before that, they had these things and for the life of me, i never understood why they removed it. It added just..a nice touch to it all. ty for this.

Ya know what I like? Mods that do, at the base, nothing to affect the game...but just make the entire game far more immersive with one little thing.
