uh so I could be wrong but I think the ancient plasma weapons have the wrong gfx? there is both one for the Vanir Plasma and Ancient Plasma (GFX that is) but the Ancient weapons are using the Vanir ones rather than the Ancient ones

I've finally found the solution, the stargate technology that doesn't triggered is working again!
I've increased the chances of have it in tech at the start of the game

It took me a LOOOOONG time to get the Stargate Event research! I had unlocked ZPM's long before it ever appeared. Would it maybe be better to make is a starting event before the game begins?

i would add it as a Option not an instant unlock to prevent bugs

since 4.0 sometimes you have to trigger the Unlock Tech via the console.

Is there any way to have the AI use one of the weapon sets? I made a Gua'uld species and they have the shipset, would love it if they used the staff weapons.

As someone who has used ACOT for years, I would be okay with this mod getting "forked" for updated versions. As for the mod itself, well done. I used the overhaul mod back in the day, but it got abandoned at some point. I love the visuals associated with these weapons.

I believe most people would be fine with it. though you should add T class weapon and x class weapon versions.

Really good mod. I recommend this if you want more powerfull armor items, because most guns and damage are...myeh, but the armors and shields are very very op. Amazing mod! :Suzukasan:

I found a glitch. It seems that if you don't research the stargate technology, Goa'uld technologies will automatically appear and stay around even if you choose a different one.

Understandable. I was just asking if it were possible, for players who would like to spawn custom AI empires who will use the appropriate tech. So for example if I wanted to play as the ancients and want to have 3 - 4 wraith AI opponents, dont want these to then use vanilla tech. thanks for clearing it up

Currently the only way AI has these technologies is to steal them. To make it work with ai normally or with trait is for me to work on many modifications but some people don't want AI to have these technologies.

alright, and is there a way to give these tech to the ai? I think it used to be linked to a specific race trait which you would give the ai, and so they would only have the tech from the assigned trait. It doesnt work like that here right?

@DR BUBBY you need tauri nuke 2 (prerequsite tauri nuke 1 and tauri cruise missile 3) and for tauri nuke / tauri cruise missile 2

thanks, these research work well it's just that you need prerequisites to have them (mid-game research)
