Korone could be a brawler, considering one of her hobbies is boxing. She could also throw disembodied fingers as if they were knives for a spammable, yet limited, NSpecial, with limited ammo & a "reload over time" mechanic, considering her finger-collecting tendencies. Her USpecial could be a rising uppercut, while FSpecial could be a dashing punch, similar in range to SSB Ultimate Mii Brawler's Burning Dropkick, that could then be chained into USpecial. Her final smash could be her special attack from "Holocure: Save the Fans!", a Hololive fangame available for free on Steam.

Opened Rivals after months of not playing it only to find that Gura's moveset is completely changed. Not a fan of the new moves in all honesty, and I can tell I'm not the only one, they all feel so bland. I get that it's to better match the vision of the creator, but, as another comment said, this update should've been a separate upload rather than completely replacing the old one. All I hope is that the legacy Gura comes out soon, because I really enjoyed the original moves more. Other than this pretty big glaring issue, this is a really good character. I approb!

Bruh her whole moveset changed. The one before at least had some solid refrences with the Shrimps and Brb bubble the new one has litterallly Byleth's side B, and Mii's Swordfighter's down B added to the already simiilar recovery to Marth's..I know it's kinda hard to give a moveset to a vtuber, but the new changes removed the bubble mechanic entirely, and yes even that was too similar to Ranno's. Overall It's a great character, but maybe should have more unique gimmicks, the sprite and alts are amazing and it's really charming at least. Well hope we get her old moveset with a legagy version

While it is nice to see that the creator of my main is still active, this character was untouched for months. I do not think it is fair to completely change much of the moveset without creating some kind of legacy version. I understand wanting to create characters that fit your vision. However, it is a shame to lose easily one of my favorite characters on the workshop. There is no reason why there can not be both. Please make a legacy version if you can get around to it.

Sorry if I went to hard, I tend to get serious about stuff when talking about this kind of topic, specially when I expected stuff from the trailer but didn't see it come to fruition -.-_-.-

Her side special is just a swing... with a long recoil... literally just use her forward smash, it's the same thing basically but better, only upside to it is you move forward slightly to get a better chance at hitting the enemy. All her other attacks though feel so good and perfectly align with what Gura has. Her smash attacks have really good uniqueness to her character, specially her up smash, one of my favorite moves. Her aerials feel so good to use and have great synergy into other attacks. Her jab is nice and helps lead to tilts or other attacks. From looking back at the old trailer containing her old move set. I don't understand why you changed it, but if you think it's best then you do you. Just wish I could have a try at her old specials since they looked a whole lot more fun then what we have now. Not to mention how her normal attacks basically synergy best with that really cool bubble ability she apparently use to have?

I just got this mod and played around with it and I can say the current kit kinda feels boring and I don't really got anything good to say about it. Her specials all feel similar in some regards and kinda under powered. They don't mix well with the normal attacks, making me just drop them most of the time only using UP B. Probably the only useful one and the only special I really like using. Her neutral special is garbage, does barley any damage and has a strangely longer then expected recharge time for something doing very minuscule damage. I find it the worse move in her kit being flat out useless. Her Down B is cool but honestly just feels like many other characters that have that same type off move, it doesn't really have any synergy with Gura's other moves. Doesn't help it has pure SD synergy.

@wafflesthepancake: That makes a lot of sense. I'd actually like that since I don't see anything wrong with the new moves individually. What annoys me is that they're ordinary & largely redundant & yet were added in place of unique moves. Your idea would solve that.

Really not a fan of the new changes

Honestly if any of these new moves were added to Gura instead of replacing older moves it would've made it much better (such as making it so her current Side B and Down B were integrated into her old Neutral B as up and down variants), but as it is, her gameplan kinda feels stripped down and unsynergistic. Side B and Down B feel like they share really similar purposes, but Down B is just the better move overall and her new projectile has so little hitstun I can't seem to get good follow ups with it.

Obviously if that's what you wanna do with the character, that's not my call to make. I agree with a couple changes honestly, but overall this definitely went from being one of my most played characters to someone I don't think I'll touch much anymore. I'll be glad if you do upload the old version sometime, shame I likely won't be able to use it in tournament though.

Understandable but it makes a lot more sense to make a radical change as a separate upload or at least wait until a separate upload is ready before making the changes so people who already like a character aren't just permanently cheated out of the character if the separate upload never comes.

Especially if the change makes a unique character not unique anymore & is therefore pretty much guaranteed to get a negative reception no matter how well it's designed.

I'm sorry you don't like these changes but as time went on, I just don't like her old moveset anymore. Only uspec and fspec were any good, and fspec was broken with how I had it made. Her new moveset fits more in line with how I want characters to play and honestly I enjoy it more than her old kit. I won't be reverting these changes but if I ever get around to it, I'll work on uploading the old kit so that people that did like it can still play it.

Ranno doesn't have a trident, a tail, shrimp, fish, or much in the way of water elemental attacks aside from the bubble itself & he's an imbalanced boring mess like most of the base characters. I shouldn't have to stop using a fun character just because the creator suddenly completely changed their mind about what they wanted to make nearly a year after they uploaded the character.

The new patch removed everything that made her unique & fun. This should've been a new upload instead of a patch. Think of about any cool move she had before & it's either gone or stripped of its fun mechanic. No bubbles, no wetness, no shrimp, & for what? So she could use utterly generic moves that other characters already had?

I get that some people like a purely straightforward character but you can't just radically change a character's concept in a patch. That's like if Smash Ultimate got a patch that replaces Cloud's special moves with normal sword moves.

Also, is it just me or is Gura's new forward smash just worse for no reason? It used to have some vertical reach but now, it's just an inferior version of her old neutral special even though we could've had both.

She's really fun. It'd be funny if there were a low chance of her randomly throwing a wet slice of pizza with her side special or up strong. Not with any special traits though since random effects kinda suck.
