Was the Regen-Error fixed?

For those who like this, but now can't kill any of them...
The problem is the regeneration... it used to be stated like this:
ship_hull_regen_add_perc = 2.5
This would be 2.5 percent regen.

however it's been changed... so 2.5 now counts as 250% regen per second.
needless to say that you will never shoot through that regen.

so to fix it, go into the mod oflder > common > ship sizes and open each of the two files, then change every instance of:
ship_hull_regen_add_perc = 2.5
to
ship_hull_regen_add_perc = 0.025

Now they will be tough, but regen at the normal speed.

I was fully expecting it to be tough, but the first time I tried to fight Shard with a combined fleet power of 1.2 million, it still didn’t make a dent. This mod is broken

All the mod creatures are now basically unkillable! :steamsad:

I've tested this against the red dragon several times with about 250k fleet power.
I've also tried to take down the galleon with far less, but still more then it should take to kill it given the game said it was only 12.5k fleet power.

As far as I can tell, this is the entire reason they are basically unkillable:
ship_hull_regen_add_perc = 2.5
You've put this on EVERY single one of them.... 2.5% of their hull regened per day makes them regen faster then my fleet can do daamge!

If I comment this out, they take awhile to kill, but ARE actually killable.
you might want to remove this from them in the release of the mod... I know I will be in the version on my computer.

@Red-Eyed_Fairace There appears to be a missing brace in your 11_leviathans.txt file. Seems that the space_dragon_origin_baby ship_size is missing a closing brace for the ai_ship_data section.

Really great mod, makes leviathans more than a mid-game speed bump and pirate galleons actually require some effort to clear out

Such a weird bug where ships are not showing up.

I thought it was ASB space battles or some other wacky addon, but nope, it's this one.

@Gwazi wonder why that is. Is it because I don't have the Distant Stories DLC? It's odd because this mod could be really helpful for players with modded empires that are super OP.

@Triskelion: Yep. but its shipcode is located inside leviathan files. It's okay if people dont have AR, the shard wont spawn without its required code anyways. It's just there, not being used if you dont have AR.

Laidback: yeah, should be. I never checked other files for that as I know the devs made sure all of them are on their specific shipsize file, so yeah, once you get the automated dreadnought, you should get the ship with the buff HP/Shield/Armor as well as that 200% damage modifier on it.

That is, if you manage to defeat it at the first place lol.

I usually use my own mods that buff AI, so in my gameplay, AI gets 500k+ fleet and sometimes exceed 2M+.
I do understand that some of you dont use AI enhancing mod but still want to use this, so to fix the AI from suiciding thier fleet to Boss creaures, I've added 1 new file that changes the following:

"BOSS_MILITARY_POWER = 40k to 750K"

This defines should prevent the AI from attacking any of the creatures above unless they have 750K+ fleet power or above.

just look at the pic, try to do the same, those AI fleet entered the system on full hp/ar/sh. and now theyre almost dead and the DH looks like didnt even take a dmg lol

Yeah, this mod replaces the whole 11_leviathan and 13_distant_stars file inside the ship_size. To fully test it out, send 4 fully equip battleship or a 10k fleet to ugh, let say, Ether drake, if they got killed and the dragon complete unharmed or didnt take even a few dmg (shield/armor/health), then it's working.

@Volkov: Lol, I didnt know if people will actually use this, I basically just made it for my own gameplay and rp purposes.

Not entirely, AI will not just randomly send a 40k fleet to any of this, They usually know it's powerful.
The reason why the AI accidentally showed up on the area of Dimensional Horror is because it's usually hidden on the galaxy map and also, dimensional horror will only spawn when someone enter its system and their main goal was to defend against Gray Tempest and their path was accidentally along the dimensional horror system lol, so yeah, by accident. :army:
