Quick set of edits that I made to get the mod working for 1.37, for anyone that's still interested in this relatively niche mod.

was militarisation being removed intentional? ik it was hinted to but it doesn't say it anywhere in the change notes
JimiJamesJammin May 16, 2023 @ 7:09pm
Keeps crashing when loading. Loading with Gov expanded and its compatibility patch
Mr.Jawster May 4, 2023 @ 10:50am
Can you make it compatible for 1.35 especially when orleans also got a new buff in the patch ^^?
Gefreiter von Tresckow Jan 14, 2023 @ 2:33pm
Vive Le Roi played this and IT WAS AWESOME

What happened to the permanent 6/6/6 ruler you could get as Orleans through the Maid of Orleans events? Last time I went through this event chain there was more events and I could get Jeanne d'Arc as a permanent 6/6/6 ruler as a crusader state, however this mod seems to have given me the Order of St Joan as a mercenary company instead.

Hey, mod creator! I wanted to say that, at least for me, for some reason, the decision for the re-trial of Joan of Arc doesn't change at all with this mod. Could you please look into that? Thanks in advance!

The militarized Society is far too powerful because Orleans Government does not limit the gov capacity like the prussian one. So, you have the same prussian militarised society but with twice the same gov capacity. I think, you should add 50% gov capacity like Prussia's government.Otherwise I like the overall changes

It wouldn't be hard to allow holy orders, but without making your own custom ones it requires a bit of an overwrite, mostly just changing the trigger from. In the common/holy_orders/00_holy_orders.txt

I'd like to see this change too, but it's up to the mod maker, unless they'd like to make their own customs which I'd be down to see and help with if asked.

trigger = {
primary_culture = iberian
religion_group = catholic
}

To

trigger = {
religion = catholic
OR = {
AND = {
has_country_modifier = sisters_takeover
religion = catholic
}
culture_group = iberian
religion = catholic
}
}

You should totally add that CB from CK2.

Should definitely also use the holy order mechanics. Maybe don't worry about icons right away and just think of 3 different cool effects Catholic crusader nuns could give.

Also low key wish I could just stay France and get this to happen. Unsure if I can beat ass as Orleans lol

@Selvaria: The reform is not visible at the start of the game. You can get it through the event chain triggered by the Fate of Joan of Arc decision.

Alternatively, if you want to play a custom nation you should be able to pick the reform in the custom nation creation screen.

If you tried those two already and you still can't see the reform then it might be a compatibility problem with some other mod you're using. If that's the case, I could try and create a compatibility patch for that mod.
Selvaria Nov 26, 2021 @ 12:47pm
Where is the reform? It doesn't show up in the goverment reform tab.
TheMasterMasterBall Nov 15, 2021 @ 7:13am
thank you for the update
Tiberie  [author] Nov 14, 2021 @ 3:35pm
Updated to 1.32.
I didn't think I would even need to do this update but apparently Paradox decided to change some of it's scripting syntax in the stupidest way possible.
I don't see how "remove_heir = {}" is better than "remove_heir = yes" regarding code style, but hey I'm not judging a multi million krona company here... oh wait I am

Agree completely with a revolutionary end-form I think that'd be fascinating.
Dr. Nolegs Oct 15, 2021 @ 11:14pm
Or maybe even add the iberian holy order thing too.
Dr. Nolegs Oct 15, 2021 @ 6:22pm
It's a great mod, so it deserves all its attention, all that I'd like would be either an event to regain the goverment form if you lose it, or a special revolutionary end game version of this really cool reform and event tree.
Tiberie  [author] Oct 9, 2021 @ 12:58pm
Wow. It's nice to see people still interested in this mod. The Governments Expanded compatbility patch is finally here:

Sorry for the delay. I recently discovered Rimworld and that ate a whole lot of my free time. Between that and work I almost forgot about the mod. However, I wanted to deliver on my promises. Cheers, and have fun playing.
Scarf Oct 5, 2021 @ 3:13pm
Eagerly awaiting the GE compatibility.
LazyMedic Oct 3, 2021 @ 3:55am
I keep losing this reform when I form Jerusalem
Naho Sep 30, 2021 @ 1:28pm
Any word on that Governments Expanded version?
TheMasterMasterBall Sep 17, 2021 @ 5:03pm
Really looking forward to that GE version!
Naho Sep 13, 2021 @ 12:58pm
Bless this mod!
Tiberie  [author] Aug 31, 2021 @ 8:23am
Yeah. I love finding small hidden flavor in the game, and I usually try to base an entire campaign on said content. I might add more content to this mod. I still got some ideas.
Scarf Aug 29, 2021 @ 8:32pm
Really good work. I almost wish it was explored more. Orleans even having content is pretty novel so I'm happy Paradox threw it in. There's a lot of small 'Glad they did that' things they've made over the years.
天行健,君子自强不息 Aug 29, 2021 @ 7:30pm
Beautiful i love
Tiberie  [author] Aug 29, 2021 @ 11:51am
Update: Your released subjects will now have access to and use the reform.
Tiberie  [author] Aug 29, 2021 @ 5:23am
You might be onto something, but she was known as the "The Maid of Orleans". Even so, I think "The Legacy of The Maiden" has a better ring to it. I'll look into changing the name of the mod if that's even possible.
Lupus Sacerdos Aug 29, 2021 @ 2:28am
Yeah, it's Maiden, she did not clean the house, she just had no sex.
Kael Aug 29, 2021 @ 1:26am
you wrote Maid instead of Maiden
Tiberie  [author] Aug 28, 2021 @ 6:26pm
@Antor Seax Just updated. Now you can pick the reform in a custom nation. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers
Antor Seax Aug 28, 2021 @ 2:13pm
Can this reform be used by custom nations?
GeneralissimoSlowchoke Aug 28, 2021 @ 8:25am
Beautiful
