These two things were added to avoid the problems with native americans getting the tech penalty / buff, and China never getting rid of the celestial empire penalties. They could both easily be something else by switching the event files. Is this really a problem, though? The mod is mostly a sandbox experiment I did to see what happens, and doesn't really have anything to do with reality.

Do natives and china really have feudal monarchy? It doesn't really fit. I would suggest, that the natives will become a tribal democracy, and China becomes a despotic monarchy.

If that means Extended Timeline, I don't think so. That mod probably creates new nations, while this mod edits the existing nation techs.

Oh, and if the version numbering is confusing that's because the number after gtech is whatever I feel like picking when I update the mod. I guess it would make more sense to use the version of eu4 instead.

Is there a way to download the version working for 1.11.4 (i really dislike common sense) the 1.11_a version from direct download still says the mod is created for 1.15 instead of 1.11

As I said, the mod only makes sense for the game's initial state. Loading the save is essentially done by writing over the game's state. Handling saves would require the save file to be edited before it's loaded. The mod is on Github and it's reasonably simple, so you can take a look at the scripts there to see what to change for your save files if you need this.

i checked. there is no result if you try to start saved game (the game which you created early without your mode). Your mode only works with new games. Can you fix it?

Do you mean: "Does the mod work if I have played a non-mod game, saved it, then enable the mod?" I don't know, but I assume yes. The mod mostly changes how countries are initially - your save file would simply overwrite these initial changes and would essentially disable the mod.

I was thinking of giving steppe hordes feudal monarchy since they're western but cannot change their government, but I figured I'll leave that in. It's still possible to change the government by completing the ideas much like westernizing works. The only thing that's changed is that Steppe Hordes don't now have the horse bonus and can buy cheap tech.

If that's desired at some point it can be done by enabling one extra sed command in my mod creator script.

hey thx for the mod.but when i start a game in south america , i only see europe and i see nothing of america , ecept for my own state that i have, fog everywhere. is there any way to change that?

Known issue. If you play for a few months the terra incognita will get removed. There are a few ideas on how this could be fixed, but I can't be arsed to implement it as it would be quite a bit of work. It's caused by every nation having the western tech group and the game handling "known world" at the beginning of the game based on tech groups.

What's wrong with the terra incognita? When I play as a country that's not near Europe, I can only see some provinces in around me and in Europe. Why?
