Heck! You're right. I've edited the cloud so that the crosshairs are connected to the spinner, so now they will remain directionally consistent.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the rules completely, it seems like the crosshair part of the cloud is supposed to move with the letter indicator part instead of the actual cloud, so that you can use it as a guide with the movement markers?

I forgot about this game!!!! This was one of my favorite games growing up. I can't believe I forgot about it. Awesome job, thank you!!

Awesome! You've done a fantastic job on what (to my mind at least) was a difficult problem.

Oh! I'll add that into troubleshooting bit. I wouldn't've thought of that! But I'm glad it's working.

Okay! I did a quick model adjustment, and now there is a independently rotating spinner top!

Also, I assume the cloud and its center ring do not rotate independently...?

I found the problem. In my options, I had the physics set to "semi-lock". Once I switched that over to "full", it works great. Ah, the joys of TTS quirks! :)

@sbwilson Hmm... It's working correctly for me, but I wonder if the physics carried over correctly? Before I adjusted the physics, I was having trouble with the scooper and the ships. For me, setting the drag/angular drag for the ships and the cloud to 0 and putting the ships at a low mass (0.1) and the cloud at a high mass (50) got it scooping.

Just a few months ago I was wondering if it would be possible to put this in Tabletop Simulator. Glad to see you put in the work to figure out how.
However...I could not get the cloud to work. The ships are so "heavy" that instead of getting scooped up, the cloud hits the ship and starts to pivot around them instead (if that makes sense).
