Sorry, ik it's a old addon, but, could you tell me how to decrease the radius of the slam? It's too high, and sometimes I die throwing it at an innocent and exploding it, if you could tell me, it would help a lot, I've searched the shared.lua but couldn't find anything that represents the radius.

would it be possible for you to change the default viewmodel to "models/weapons/c_slam.mdl"

this would make it work with playermodel hands.

I've uploaded a version of this with that change already in place unlisted to the workshop but it would be 10x better if you just made the change.

Could you add a convar to toggle if it can be thrown or not? I tried it with some friends and found it to be too OP, as it could be used to insta-kill everyone with little effort. It's still a good mod tho.

Please add an option for arm delay in seconds. Adding a delay of 5 seconds would make it more balanced for our server. The default can be 0 or .25 (whatever the default is), but we'd appreciate a setting to set the delay before arming for the satchel and tripwire modes

This addon is really cool, but it'd be amazing if you could make a version for sandbox mode....

"This weapon will not show up in sandbox mode. It's already included by default under "Half-Life 2" Category."

Yes, this statement is true, but yours obviously has other features that the sandbox one does not... namely changing beam size and controlling the amount of SLAMs each player can hold.

If you'd rather not, then can you please send me the original lua code for weapon_slam.lua that is already built into the game? Or could you tell me where I could find it? Thanks in advance! :)

I dunno man, C4 is pretty useless too, innocents can just walk away safely! Oh and don't even mention that if you—the traitor—want on the C4, you'll die!

You're running an older version of TTT slams on your server and everyone else is downloading the newer version from the workshop you need to update the ttt_slam on you're server.

Kann gut sein. Ich wollte nur fragen, vorher die Sounds kommen; Hinzufügen kannst du sie natürlich nicht. (Außer man macht seine eigenen, ähnlichen Sounds, kann ich aber nicht)

Ich hab grad nochmal selber geguckt und feststellen müssen, dass ich die Fehlermeldung mitlerweile auch bekomme, müssen die Sounds wohl bei einen der letzten Patches raus genommen haben.

Ich kann dir auch nicht sagen, warum die Sounds bei mir vorhanden sind, allerdings kann ich sie auch nicht zur Mod hinzufügen, da man keine Dateien von kostenpflichtigen Spielen einbauen darf.

Naja also ich hab HL2:DM nicht installiert, das ist verwunderlich, dass alle mit denen ich spiele die Sounds haben und kein HL2:DM installiert haben, wundert mich...

I finally added the changeable beam size, sorry that it took so long. A motion sensor will be added as a seperate item, but it can take some time, I have so much to do currently.

Can you add a mode to the SLAM which notifies the Traitor (eg. Sound and/or text message)
when an opposing player (Innocent and Detective) is running by the SLAM? The SLAM should not explode but also have no laser in this mode.

Yeah, maybe. A friend of mine and myself digged through your code and we increased the amount of red in the color of the beam seen by innocents - no changes on the thickness of the beam. That did the trick, at least for us. But if there's a way to handle colors with ConVars then a ConVar could help to et these things on a more "easy" level to configure^^

I have a question regarding the laser of the SLAM: Is there a way to increase the brightness of the laser for the innocent team? My fellow players said that the laser isn't visible for them (in fact: it is, but it's tough to spot). So im searching for a way to increase the brightness of the laser by a bit. Thanks in advance :)

Would be great to make the S.L.A.M. not kill fellow traitors. However, looking at the code, it's using npc_tripmine which has in-built enemy detection that cannot be influenced (source: http://www.zombiemaster.org/smf/index.php?topic=12374.5;wap2 ).
Any chance that you're going to make a mine similar to this one with per-team detection?

The SLAM kills everyone else than yourself. I suggest to kill everyone or just the other team.

@Zaratusa I dont meant an icon in the shop :D If you place C4 you have something like a warning indicator for all traitors (where it is and time till explosion). I meant something like this - so no traitor blows up from a slam accidently.

I have a question relating the slam. Is it possible to add a icon on the Traitors HUD to indicate where a slam is (like the icon of the C4)? I tried to add it myself but im too bad at LUA Scripting Stuff T_T

I can see this being used in other game modes as well such as survival type games or death match style game. Like Sorin said, it makes you have to be a bit more mindful and careful when playing with (or against) others. Also could be great for RP style games as well

Yep, got them working great on my server too. They add great aspect, you must be careful and thoughtful when walking into a room instead of playing mindlessly.

I really love this thing, like the detail in the fact you can set it to be a detonator or a trip wire like the real thing lol and its fun to use i have to say. Though if its possible could you also make an entity form? (I think thats what it would be called) Where you do not pick up automaticly, but rather you press the use button to pic it up (I think thats what an entity is but im not sure lol). Be good for some realistic RP stuff like survival game types

okay I got it working some how. i've tested it with someone, and i only added the workshop instead of downloading locally. it spawns in 2 mines for me. thanks

@The General Yes only one tripmine and it can't explode if you've placed it and walk through it.

Zaratusa, I forced myself D multiple times, but nothign seemed to work. I'll give it another shot though to verify if it works on my server.
