I don't really use Soundtrack mod, so I'll probably just stick to giving this one a try.

I've always wanted to listen to TearOfGrace music while playing Isaac.
And now my dream has been realized...

Hey, pretty dope mod. Any way you can post just the Smash Bros. "challenger approaching" boss alert as a separate mod?

It replaces the music, I haven't made it compatible with the soundtrack menu yet, Ill try and figure that out soon

does it only replace the music or can i change it using the soundtrack menü?

ALSO!!! DON'T MESS AROUND WITH OR CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE ORIGINAL THE BINDING OF ISAAC REBIRTH FOLDER!!! Changing names of files, moving them elsewhere, etc. will mess stuff up! COPY AND PASTE IS OKAY!!! I think I mentioned that but I just want to make sure you don't mess up your game!

EXAMPLE: Replacing the boss rush song is as easy as extracting your selected mp3 and naming it boss rush in the music folder of your mod folder. There are also more folders in the music folder, such as fight ogg and jingle ogg, which have even more tracks in there. You get the hang of it pretty quickly, basically if you wanna change something you just gotta make the folder and name the files the exact same as the tracks. Repentance has its own separate resources folder as well, called resources-dlc3. If any of this is confusing (which it probably is), here are links to the videos that helped me make my mod.

Here's the fun (and long) part! Keep your mods music folder open, and open up the music section of your resources folder in the main The Binding of Isaac Rebirth folder. When you open up the music in the main folder, there will be a huge list of all the tracks in there. To replace a track in the game, you need to save the song you want as a .ogg file in your mods music folder and name it as the track you want to replace. If you have Audacity (free download), you can import an mp3 file into it and extract it as a .ogg file.

Once you get everything set up for modding, replacing the music with your own is pretty simple. If you have not made a mod yet, you go to your Local Disc C: -> Program Files x86 -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> The Binding of Isaac Rebirth -> tools -> ResourceExtractor and then in that folder run the ResourceExtractor application. A window will pop up, press enter, and it will do a bunch of extracting and then you will have access to everything in the "resources" folder in the main The Binding of Isaac Rebirth folder. In the main folder there is a mods folder, click that and then make a new folder and name it whatever you want. Then in the mod folder you need to make a new folder and name it resources. Now whenever you make a mod, you only need to make folders for the stuff you want to change. So, in the resources folder, to change the music of the game you need a new folder called music.

wow, gehenna went from horrible demons moaning in my ear to explosive jams (but I love team plasma) and might wanna switch to something like Castle Crashers-cave because it's still a bop but a little more spooky.
