Wouldn't it be cool if you could salt or wax the hambat to freshen it up or make it infinite at the cost of some damage?

Doesn't it just make most other melee weapons pointless, especially considering how you barely have to go out of your way to get it? The only (potentially) better weapons are morning star, dark sword, the whip, and the glass cutter, which is only because they deal more damage or are better in a few certain situations. I guess it's good for people who want to rush or showcase, but that's it. But, targeting this mod towards new players will likely do more harm than good, if that's what it's for. I think it'd be better if it was immune to toadstool's spore clouds, instead.
I guess it's okay to try out though, as long as the person doesn't keep it on as a QoL mod.
