@Zeon this one might be a bit more demanding on performance as it is rendered live from shaders, whereas most other XMB waves available are just video files.

It looked super laggy and not all that well compared to other PS3 XMBs I saw. Was it just me? Or is this an issue for others

BillGates555 - Wow, I had no clue Sony over engineered the XMB color changes that much. Really cool to know, but it's complex enough to the point where we don't know exactly how it works, so that does suck for recreating it.

marioman - I got the background color images from the ps3 dev wiki: https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/XMB The background seems to match when you set a specific color from the list on ps3, but I also noticed that the colors advance around halfway through the month on the ps3 when you set it to "original" rather than at the end of the month as on this wallpaper. They also get much darker at night on the real ps3 than what is shown in the wiki. I have not spent much time trying to figure out exactly when it switches and if it is the same every month, and thought it made more sense to just change it on the first day anyway. I do kind of want to adjust the darkness at some point though.

I get the message "This wallpaper requires a newer version of Wallpaper Engine" on the latest version, but an older version that I manually downloaded still works fine - please can you rebuild this wallpaper with the windows_7_support branch of Wallpaper Engine so that everyone can enjoy it?

Karas - thanks for the feedback. I Increased the size adjustment range and added AMPM option in latest update. Planning to improve the clock in general at some point and make it look more like the ps3 ui.

Oh, a date indicator just like the PS3 - with format customisations such as DDMMYYYY, or YY/MM/DD will be amazing too, but I don't think this is very important.

Hello, thanks for the great wallpaper! I love it very much but I'd be very grateful if you can make these adjustments:
1. add X and Y-axis settings for the location of the clock
2. larger range of adjustments for the size of the clock (I am using a 4K monitor and the clock isn't as large as I'd like it to be)
3. lower the brightness for "night" - I remember that the real PS3 theme was very dark at night, but this wallpaper is far too bright
4. add "AM/PM" indicator when using 12 hr clock

Hi SpawnOfZap, just added a setting to adjust the clock size. Hope it works for you as I don't have a great way of testing with ultra widescreen formats.

Would it be possible to add a setting to change the size of the clock? Stretching the wallpaper across multiple monitors makes the clock a bit too big. No worries if it can't be done.

Hi Lt_orangepicker, the background changes hourly (technically per minute) if auto day/night is selected. It is brightest at 10 am and darkest at 2 am, following the ps3 functionality. This is only available when using one of the ps3 monthly backgrounds, not for a custom color.

I love this background but if you could update the background somehow to change hourly or to be allowed to that be way cooler too

Would it be possible to add a feature to change the color of the ribbon? I'd love to, for example, have a darker colored ribbon over a light background.

For the missing files, try unsubscribing, wait for it to delete the files, and then resubscribe. This should fix the issue

Fixed the 12 hour clock setting, it should now show up as an option when the clock is turned on.
