Würde mich sehr interessieren. Wär's auch auf deutsch möglich? :-)

Did you ever release the mod you were working on?
Buecherweber  [author] Oct 26, 2021 @ 6:46am
Hey Kat, thanks for your report! I'm glad you like the event. Gender is always a difficult thing to implement, because it requires text splits for every single pronoun, and I probably just missed one. I'll fix it ASAP.

Hey this is a great mod. I loved coming across the compass event on my latest campaign, but one small thing: in the peacetime slider, it misgendered my nb character (it said sister, and my character is nb with a masculine bodytype but feminine voice, maybe that's why?)
MedeaMidnight Sep 28, 2021 @ 7:35pm
Oh that's completely alright!! In that case I'll definitely be following you to see that new mod!!
Buecherweber  [author] Sep 27, 2021 @ 4:32pm
Thank you two for your comments!

@MedeaMidnight: Right now, I'm working on a much (and I mean, MUCH) bigger Wildermyth-Mod. Unfortunately, this one has to cut back in response, and for the forseeable future, there will probably not be any additional events. Or at least, I don't want to promise something I can't keep. But I thank you for your kind words and your interest!
MedeaMidnight Sep 26, 2021 @ 7:54pm
thank you for making these!!! I love the character interactions happening. I hope there will be more updates in the future!!
ShyGuy Aug 29, 2021 @ 10:26am
I really enjoy the idea of this, more and more events to add to the game that just involve character interaction is awesome
Buecherweber  [author] Aug 28, 2021 @ 7:23pm
Update Time - once again! In addition to one new event, "Soft spot" and some smaller fixes and text additions to the former events, the older "Leading man" has been renamed to the gender neutral version "One to lead us" - thanks @tamtitam for the suggestion. Have fun roaming the Yondering Lands, everyone!
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 25, 2021 @ 9:51am
Update Time! Event No. 5, "New directions", is finally up and ready! The update also includes two followup events (the ones shown in between years of peace), one of which is for the older "Scouting duty", and a few smaller fixes.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 24, 2021 @ 7:41am
I would be very surprised if it does. In the end, it's just events, the mod does not interfere with the base game at all. It just adds more stuff to a random list.
A1 Steaksauce Jul 24, 2021 @ 1:13am
Any idea if this conflicts with other similar mods?
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 23, 2021 @ 8:51am
Haha, thank you so much! I feel very honored.

In fact, I'm working on another event right now, but ... it might take a little while. They say I'm to perfectionistic, and who am I to argue with that; plus, writing in English takes quite some time, I'm not yet used to it. But I promise - I won't neglect my responsibility! ;)
tamtitam Jul 23, 2021 @ 6:48am
Actually, I think those are the best fan-made events out there. At least, if you want them to really mesh with the rest.

But I do have a grave criticism I forgot to make: They are not enough! You need to make more of them! With great writing-power comes great responsibility!
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 21, 2021 @ 6:21pm
Thank you two very much! Stereotypes are always hard to dodge, but I try my best. Interesting proposal on the naming, I will think about it!
tamtitam Jul 21, 2021 @ 5:49pm
I like your events. They blend in really well, while still feeling special and fun! And they are suprisingly little sappy. Also, no toxic romantic stereotypes so far (yeah!). Keep up the good work.
tamtitam Jul 21, 2021 @ 5:48pm
Would it make sense to rename "The leading man" to "the leader"(?)
- It gender neutral
- For me, the meaning of "Leading man" is close to "main character" - but the party doesn't necessarily have a main character. It's just about the person leading them to battle...
BigodeGaiato Jul 19, 2021 @ 10:24pm
Thanks for the Mod :)
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 17, 2021 @ 3:06pm
The fix is up, along with some minor quality of life-improvements - for example, while I was at it, the events now also don't trigger for heroes with NPC romances anymore. You guys find any other issues - as always, don't hesitate to let me know!
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 17, 2021 @ 2:35pm
Oh, damn! Okay ... that is definately not intended. Thanks for telling me. I only specified in the event that the people chosen should be 'able to romance' one another - i didn't know that this option included family! I will fix that at once - probably for the other events then, as well.
artythrip1 Jul 17, 2021 @ 12:01pm
I did have an issue with scouting party where somebody tried to start a romance with their daughter....... but otherwise really impressed with the events :)
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 16, 2021 @ 5:34pm
Thank you, I really appreciate that. Scouting Duty was a hard bit of work, I'm glad you like it!
Mythophile Jul 16, 2021 @ 6:01am
I am seriously impressed with the quality of the events in this. I just got Scouting Duty and it's perfect.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 9, 2021 @ 2:15pm
Thanks man! You rock! ;)
Noomster Jul 9, 2021 @ 1:38pm
Yep, they work fine now.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 9, 2021 @ 7:44am
Good news - the problem seems to be fixed! Seems like there was a translation problem, since the game expected my texts to be in my first language. I changed a little something in the files, and it should work now! BUT - I still cannot figure this out myself, so feedback on the matter is crucial now, specifically from non-Germans (since that is the only language that used to work)! If you aren't one and the event works for you, I would appreciate if you told me, so I know that the problem has been dealt with.

Big thanks to fellow modder Noomster, who helped me with this fix! I really hope this ends the bug for good.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 8, 2021 @ 3:05pm
This is a really strange bug. I am not able to recreate it myself, forcing the event multiple times in devMode lets it work fine (for me) and there is nothing strange in its code anymore. Withour further detail, I cannot pinpoint the source of it for now; however, thank you for reporting.
camille.caco Jul 8, 2021 @ 11:12am
No bubble for me neither...
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 4, 2021 @ 3:16pm
The event is back up again! In my test run, I got it working properly. Should you still run into bugs, just let me know!
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 4, 2021 @ 9:25am
Alright. Thank you guys for reporting. For now, I will just deactivate the event; actually, I have an idea what might be the mistake, since I tried improving the event by fooling around with the speech bubbles. I will look into that later this evening.
Mythophile Jul 4, 2021 @ 9:23am
FYI, the quest did finish though. So it's not overtly broken. Could just be a setting.
Mythophile Jul 4, 2021 @ 9:22am
Same here. There were no bubbles at all.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 4, 2021 @ 9:00am
Hm, that sounds strange. I never had this bug before, and I did multiple tests with the events. I didn't use the mod you had, so it might in fact be a mod conflict, but that would surprise me, I don't see how they could be conflicting. Did you still see the speech bubbles empty, or were they gone altogether?
Z Jul 4, 2021 @ 8:41am
So had the event Dancing Shadows, but none of the words were visible. I'm also running Stanfreed's New Events mod, so not sure if this is a mod conflict or a bug.
Mythophile Jul 2, 2021 @ 9:17am
Looking forward to seeing the Bryonic Poet get his due. Also Snark wars.
Buecherweber  [author] Jul 1, 2021 @ 11:13am
I agree! The relationship aspect is one of Wildermyth's great strengths, in my opinion.
Thanks for the kind words, I hope they will show up for you!
Rosencaster Jul 1, 2021 @ 10:24am
I love the stories that moders create for this game, theres so much creativity to be shown in thiis game's world and lore that people create.
Im looking forward to seeing your events in my next playthrough, the way people in relationships communicate with one another is some of my favorite parts of the game.
