I am looking into fixing the blast radius, so far no luck.
I suggest you reinstall the addon, and/or check on a fresh server with no other addons. Because on the latest version of Gmod on our server, this works flawless with no errors.
It currently does not work for sandbox, however if I have time I will look into it.
Can you post the link in a comment so I can add it?
This gun was never finished and was being custom coded for the Devolved Server as part of a custom point shop item..
Finally fixed the sound glitch, sorry it took so long(was very busy).
Now sadly I did have to reset the sound distance back to its default value, and I cannot increase it currently(increasing it breaks the sound volume). If I can find a solution to that I will, but otherwise the sound distance will stay the same.
So in this update the bass cannon CANNOT be fired multiple times by one person, this should COMPLETELY remove any chance of it glitching and staying all round. Also the charging indicator SHOULD still work, but it may instead just deplete(which is fine IMO, it makes sense).
Thank you everyone for being patient with me on this, and hopefully we can continue to enjoy this addon together with no more bugs!
I'm working on it right now as we speak, I have fixed the bug happening now. However I was entirely able to replicate the bug with beams not dissapearing, and its worse than it looked at first.

1. Laser not dissapearing glitch:
I have added a patch to the code that should force the cleanup process to run 3 times instead of just once, hopefully that will allow all clients to recieve the cleanup command after the beam dies.
2. Sound not being heard across entire map:
I have gone through the code where it plays the sound, and it was not set to maximum range.
I have increased the sound to maximum range and increased the volume slightly(sorry I had to).
Hopefully this fixes those issues. Please let me know if it doesn't, and/or if there is another glitch now.
Also about the sandbox addon:
I have not forgotten about doing this, I have not had a chance to add it. I will work on it soon(maybe within a week) and hopefully it will work without glitches.

I will look into it, but I'm not entirely sure its even coded for close range only.
