You should first check on a mod-clean world with just this mod if the error(lol) message persists.
I did just that and the mod works fine. Laila uses the onemanband item fine in both her skin forms (yes, the experimental part was her having more than one skin form, accessable through the crafting ui, clothing section.)

Apparently, this mod's missing the animation for the One Man Band item, as my save worked perfectly before I added this mod, but when I added it, the game spat out an error message about a file called one_man_band.zip or something like that being missing from the "anims" folder. Please fix asap, I really want to try this character.

I'm sorry to hear that. But I've heard that line somewhere else, about this exact thumbnail. Might as well call it quits and just do what I promised to do in the description, before this mod gets taken down for some irrational copyright reason.
