Since you are on PC it would be very easy for you to remove that feature. All you need to do is remove the A1Mubgr.ini file in your Skyrim data folder.

hi dragon. just wanted to throw you a little feed back. just recently started on SE. anniversary and all. all my 4k hours are on oldrim. decided to give this a go on SE as it seems to be the only books glow option. however.. and this bums me out to say this. i had to delete the mod before even getting to the ruins. :( the over sized pages were just to much for me to handle. i realize you made them much larger to "fit" the screen and "make them easier to read" but it was over the top imo. i wish there was a way to choose between normal and HELLO IN YOUR FACE. :) but i would imagine there isn't one. thank you for you hard work and helping the community. all the best.

What an absolutely awesome idea. This is going to save me so much time because i always feel the need to open every book in existence.

1. We are building a dungeon where the book will be retrieved from.
2. The Book that turns on and controls the settings is a Black Book. This is for Immersion .
3. This only applies to books "picked up". Not taken from chests. When you pick up a book in a cell it opens automatically. If you immediately take the book it will not be marked as read. Books taken from chests would need to be opened and read to be marked read.
