I legit saw the sun cards effect and subbed to it, that is godly

I fixed it by resubing mod. Everything's working right now

@Adamo2499 That is odd, I've tested with MCM Pure and the settings do persist between game runs. Would you be willing to start a run with only "Tarot Cloth +" and "MCM Pure" enabled to see if the problem persists? Otherwise it could be another mod that is affecting the save somehow.

Will you rewrite it to make it compatible with MCM Pure? Because I have it and it doesn't save my options

@cadetpirx I believe it should work; the most recent documented patch is from Dec. 6th, 2021, and without documentation I can't do much targeted testing.
I plan to update the mod soon, but I can't reproduce many of the bugs people have and so right now I'm just trying to find out why these bugs exist.

Does it work for the recent patch in this game? 'Cause I'm thinking you should update this mod soon.

Just had the game crash vs Mom's Heart with the mod enabled and with Tarot Cloth acquired when using the Sun card. As soon as the card animation finished playing, the game immediately froze, then crashed entirely.

Possible bug?

Does this still work with all the recent updates?

This should be part of the main game. I'm fairly purist but it seems balanced enough.

hey, my game just crashed after using "The World?" with tarot cloth, i remember it working normally before, maybe the update broke something since the crawlspace bug got fixed?

I'm impressed by what this mod does. Some effects are easy to implement, others must have taken several days to implement, props

@Krucjusz Thanks for the feedback. If you have Mod Config Manager installed, you can choose which Tarot Cloth effects you want to add to your game, and which you would like to remove.

I don't know if it's only me but I feel like effect of the fool is making getting to boss rush a bit too easy, that is what stops me from downloading this mod. I would suggest you to change it into idk maybe effect like the glowing hourglass has, this would keep item rooms closed if u entered and seen bad item, increasing your planetarium chance, or for bad curse/sacrifice rooms

Hey, can I ask what are the licensing rights on this mod -- like, do you allow derivative works based on your code?
I wanted to make a mod that returned the synergy Tarot Cloth had with some of the special cards back in AB+ like 2 of clubs/diamonds/etc. and I saw that this mod pretty much has all the groundwork already in place for it. Thanks

Perhaps The World card could include the Ultra Secret Room? Just the Super Secret being shown doesn't change much, considering how much it already shows, plus it could be beneficial to those who bear a Red Key or method of creating Red Rooms.

MOD UPDATE: Changed the effects of The Moon and The Moon? (again): Now they both give the player 1 bomb and 1 key when used.
This brings their power levels more towards the power of the base game Tarot Cloth bonuses. You can see a more thorough reasoning of these changes in the "Card Effect Suggestions" discussion.

Ahh I see, that makes totally sense (hermit) but it is a very lazy solution by the devs ngl xD

@SlayXc2 Thanks for the info! When I first published this mod, I did know that these cards had additional tarot effects but the wiki hadn't been updated (I ended up updating the wiki later on to list these two effects), so I went ahead and made new tarot effects for them anyways. I decided to keep these effects in the final mod, but I let the user decide if they want to disable these effects via Mod Config Menu. I'll update the workshop description for the mod to let people know about The Sun and The Reverse Hermit effects.

Interestingly, the reason that The Reverse Hermit gives you 1 extra coin is because the card is used twice in the same frame with Tarot Cloth: the first time it is used it converts everything in the room into coins, and the second time it is used it spawns a single coin since there are now no more pickups to turn into coins.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that The Sun and Reverse Hermit actually have a Tarot Cloth effect without mods ^^ Sun deals 200 damage instead of 100 and Reverse Hermit adds 1 extra coin to the conversion (yes thats kinda random lol).

Just in case you want to remove your versions from the mod because of that.

@Brutux There are some other people with the same crashing problem as you, but I'm having trouble recreating the bug. Could you let me know what mods you have installed? Post about it in the Bug Reports discussion.
