Yeah sorry, I was generally busy; Unfortunately it was the games API (still) not working correctly; I was kinda hoping theyd fix that, but it didnt happen. So I had to implement it in another, less optimal way; But apart from challenge rooms it should be working again

When mom's hands appear, I can not see the the "MUAHAHAHAHA" text in that room, but the text apppears in EVERY room AFTER that.

Please please please can you add a popup for when a room is cleared, i play with my music on and i cant hear the doors open

Great mod for accessibility. I'd be happy to try fixing the every room notification bug if you're no longer supporting this. Feel free to add/message me if so.

i'm also having the bug where it appears in every room after you fight mom. An alternative to this mod is one called "Coming down!", but it doesn't have the dog tooth functionality.

It happens when you meet mom's hand in a challenge room. Hope that helps.

Continued from the below comments, it seems that at least one of the perpetual notification messages bugs (popping up every time you enter a new room until you restart the game) is due to challenge rooms spawning a Mom's Hand as part of a wave instead of just having those enemies already there. I would guess that people's experience with the Mom fight is a similar problem, with the voice clip being played after gameplay starting in the room.

I see the mod hasn't been updated in over a year, so I'm sure you're busy with other things. Either way, maybe this will be useful.

This needs to be built into the game. I play without sound at work during slow meetings so the hands and dog tooth are so much harder. Thank you!!!

i was playing greedier mode with tainted maggy and the mod didnt proc, i think it was on the shoel floor. plx fix?

Edit Edit: The crawlspace text is completely deceiving and is not accurate at all. It either works correctly or it lies to you! It has a chance to not display text in a room with a crawlspace or display in a room with or without obstacles. It just doesn't seem right.

This mod is bugged. It's possible (likely even) to get the "bark" text in a room with no rocks. To fix this, check if the GridEntity at Room:getDungeonRockIdx is actually a rock.

Small bug, I had a previous run which had dog tooth, and then after I finished that run I started another one. On the next run, without having dog tooth, the "you hear a dog howl" prompt still showed up. Odd!

Sorry, it requires the Repentance DLC, because it uses an API function that is not available in AB+

For performance reasons it's only checked when entering a new room, if you have the "Dog Tooth", so I suppose when you start a new Game with having had the item previously, it will show the Fortune Text. Shouldn't happen anymore the next room, tho. I will look into the optimal solution for fixing that unlikely situation tomorrow^^

This is great. Most of the time i play isaac while watching something on my seconds monitor, so i sometimes miss the dog barking audio cue

I appreciate this a lot, I don't personally have hearing issues but simple mods like this go a long way for accessibility
