This conflicts with the rochelle monochrome Elise model, the milkor grenade launcher, your enhanced impact mod and many more, which means if I use this I can't see the cool impact effects or the muzzle flash effects

l4d2 sometimes appears that it does not conflict, but it does, as long as another mod does not replace weapon_fx.pcf there should be no problem

You have any clue why this addon won't work? I have other particle mods but they don't even say that there is conflict in the addon menu. Default explosion still shows up for me and ive reinstalled and restarted my game.

I know that the name of cinematic explosion would be better, but I decided to name it realistic for the particles, which are more realistic than the original ones from l4d2, but the effect is not realistic

Cool mod but I wouldn't call it "realistic", this is more a movie/hollywood explosion.
( Maybe Search in YT : Why Real Explosions Don't Look Like Movie Explosions)
The vanilla one is more realistic imo, and the flash is needed because in night times, that explosion is so bright that it will make your eyes see the flash, and for day times, the sun is the brightest light source IRL and in game, so there shouldn't be that flash since the eyes are adapted to it (BUT the game has that flaw for day time maps).
