@yellowdotchuck I believe those coaches are a part of a MTA pack for the silverliner, or something to that effect. Can't remember his name, but it's that guy who put out a bunch of Amtrak NEC reskins and rolling stock.

@DeBones None of the regular Chargers has third rail shoes. The Surfliner Charger is equipped with a TCS shoe on the second axle allowing it to exceed 79 mph. It's used for communication between the track and the locomotive so it stops automatically it if someone tries to run it over a red signal

Imaginary edit: Well I'm half right. The Pacific Surfliner Charger as far as I know has 3rd rail shoes even though there is no 3rd rail presence outside of the NEC. Interesting... Still studying on the different Chargers

Just so you know, all Chargers are actually dual mode Chargers. They come with third rail shoes by default. My friend group made that discovery in San Diego with the Pacific Surfliner Chargers. Even on the default ALC-42, there's a third rail shoe present on the render.
