I looked into it, and it seems as if I cannot modify the maintenance requirements, so i'll just deal with it. Thanks anyways for brething new life into this game and merry Chrismas!
You can apply multiple rulesets at a time, so you could just make a ruleset that modifies the maintenance interval and apply that on top of this one.
One issue i keep running into are too long maintenance times, i cant make tram lines over 4 hours and bus lines over 2 hours, cause the vehicles go from 100 to 0% that fast. Would love you forever if you could change that :)

I would like to see a saved game using this ruleset. I can't imagine services everywhere every 5, 10 minutes. The entire city will be made up by your own vehicles.
