for some reason,on certain maps the mod either doesnt work or work with other rulesets
Timotheus Feb 2, 2021 @ 11:31am
Ah darn, I thought you could add it to an existing game.
Mikkel  [author] Feb 2, 2021 @ 10:44am
From the main menu, click Sandbox, then select "*CiM 25" from the "Custom Rules" menu. There is no way to use custom rulesets in campaign mode, nor add them to an existing game.

How do you know its installed? I downloaded it from this steam workshop, and it says its downloaded and ready to use, but when I load up my game, nothing is changed

You can have multiple rulesets active at the same time. If you feel the need to adjust capacity, by all means. I haven't found it necessary, personally.
BowlerStuff Dec 10, 2020 @ 1:25am
i wish you couldve added high capacity for the depots

and cars are going faster or slower ?
|WoH| MuratCn3 May 5, 2018 @ 1:50pm
Is it a lot of traffic or   Is it little traffic

thank you
Mikkel  [author] May 4, 2018 @ 1:19pm
It slows down time. Vehicle density should be mostly unchanged (though you will need to update your schedules because an hour lasts a lot longer than in the unmodified game).

then what is it do?

^^ sory my English is bad

are you briefly explained :D
Mikkel  [author] Apr 29, 2018 @ 11:39am
No.
|WoH| MuratCn3 Apr 28, 2018 @ 4:12pm
The entire city will be made up by your own vehicles.

is it true ^^
Greyity Mar 10, 2016 @ 11:46am
Soory it works actually. I just didnt know u have to pick ruleset in cim 2 since one it just applied automatically ^^'
Mikkel  [author] Mar 9, 2016 @ 6:26pm
What's the issue? I can't turn off my DLC, but I don't see why it shouldn't. Maybe because I've applied changes to monorails?
Greyity Mar 9, 2016 @ 5:55pm
Doesnt work with basic version :((
Reasu Dec 22, 2015 @ 3:53pm
hahaha my entire life choices, wow!

I looked into it, and it seems as if I cannot modify the maintenance requirements, so i'll just deal with it. Thanks anyways for brething new life into this game and merry Chrismas!
Mikkel  [author] Dec 22, 2015 @ 12:05pm
I'll look into it, but if your lines are that long, it may be time to reexamine your life choices.

You can apply multiple rulesets at a time, so you could just make a ruleset that modifies the maintenance interval and apply that on top of this one.
Reasu Dec 20, 2015 @ 6:17pm
This is pretty old, but still awesome, gives the game a way more realistic feeling!
One issue i keep running into are too long maintenance times, i cant make tram lines over 4 hours and bus lines over 2 hours, cause the vehicles go from 100 to 0% that fast. Would love you forever if you could change that :)
Mikkel  [author] Jan 7, 2015 @ 6:40pm
Car ownership is set to 75% of normal and population is 150% of normal, so net traffic should be slightly higher than the stock ruleset. There are a few cars in the first screenshot, but that's just because the shots are taken in low-traffic/high-transit areas. You'll still have to deal with the familiar freeway gridlock.
w1ld.b0ar Jan 5, 2015 @ 8:44am
are there any inhabitants personal vehicles? can't see them on screenshots
Mikkel  [author] May 21, 2014 @ 2:18pm
As requested, here are a couple of saves made using the ruleset:

A new city with three tram lines:

An established city with lines of every type, making over 3 million per week:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/68829/established-cim-2.5-city.save (20.5 MB, requires Metros and Monorails DLC)
Mikkel  [author] May 14, 2014 @ 1:10pm
Douglas and Nexus, bear in mind that the time is also accelerated 7x. 5-minute service on a metro line that crosses the map requires ~15 vehicles. It is very easy to make a network that earns you several million dollars per week. If anything, prices will be too low.
Nexus May 6, 2014 @ 9:48am
Agree with Douglas, please tweak the prices down to handle the increased frequency, and energy costs if possible.
❆🎄Douglas 🎁 🎂 May 3, 2014 @ 5:00pm
I will try that, but I'm afraid the prices will need tweak. My frequency is usually 1,5 hours, 1 hour and every 30 minutes. In special cases, 3 times per hour. And that costs a lot of money. Vehicles are very expensive. If its necessary every 1 minute it will cost a lot.

I would like to see a saved game using this ruleset. I can't imagine services everywhere every 5, 10 minutes. The entire city will be made up by your own vehicles.

Thank you! Very good Ruleset!
