after playing dead center rebirth this feel like just a esthetic map. yes there sometime new routes but it basically the same path but with darker ambiance. and the map gives you basically a few guns and supply at the start, taps you in the back an tell you good luck. i think during the last chapiter before the finale it took 90% of the map before we found 1 molotov and ammos. that it. it meh imo and also very hard, somehow throwing so much s*** in your face you barely know where to look. 5/10

dead center rebirth:

it's probably all my mods but this map runs like crap in some parts

Play it a couple of times and it is just a darker the parish with less weapons and kits.It is well made but isnt scary or enternaining

Overall, fun, but very hard. Parish is ment to be a longer and more intensive map, and was balanced with fairly generous supplies to string you along to meet that challenge. In this, there's far, far less to work with. Less throwables, kits being outright removed, and only SOMETIMES being replaced with shots, much fewer ammo piles, more common Tier 1 guns then 2, along with more car alarms and obstacles...

It can feel very sloggy and a bit of an endurance at times. Often we barely made it, and that was with killing people in the rooms to save kits. A bit too lean on the supplies.

But it looks great, has great ambiance, the alternate paths and routes and change ups are great. It's a solid map, and can be fun, but not for the casuals.

The map's dark and chilly theme is beautifully executed. There are no over-the-top obstacles, levels, or objects. The quiet atmosphere of the city is also captivating. This map looks even better than the original. I highly recommend playing it.

Как будто изменения в кампании минимальны, не считая темноты. Но может стоит поиграть ещё раз, может будет какой-то интересный рандом.

the map wont even load into my game, i subscribe, it downloads in game, but it never shows up

I think there's a little issue, for some reason the radio dialogue at the start of the bridge doesn't play (the one when a survivor interacts with the radio)

does anyone know how to get to the float event because there is a bus blocking the way to the float

This paired with the Universal Downpour mutation is quite a experience

At night it does make the campaign a bit harder and certain sections of the map have an atmospheric flare to them, which is nice. Poster is very cool.

But do you know what's not cool? Adding an invisible wall to the tractor plank crescendo event where I can't move on as soon as it is physically possible for me to jump to the plank.

Не смотря на приставку "ТЁМНЫЙ" в названии, тут довольно светло. Можно даже без фонарей играть, кроме секции в канализации, разумеется.

Despite not being subscribed to this addon, and rather a few of your HD retextures- this campaign appears in my addon campaign list regardless. I have not yet subbed to this addon. Do you think you could check through your signs & trash cluster retextures to see if anything linking back to this was left over?

Honestly The Parish is so much better at night, its a shame this isn't how valve originally made the campaign.
