It only changes really the defensive bonuses and how much you gain it. So I don't see it why it would not work on Mongolian update. Unless it breaks something and makes it hard to track the Defensive bonuses. So it should work fine. As it only effects Defensive bonuses.

@MEB Maybe. This file has only been edited 1 file. I found something new in the vanilla txt file. u can copy the added code in vanilla file to this mod file.

Oh and it does work with the current update but does not work with overhauls like AGOT that change buildings

Would I have implemented it differently? Maybe. Where vanilla has the concept of adding different kinds of modifiers as you level up a building, this mod keeps the same modifiers throughout, though it scales them to get better as the building improves. Either was great mod.

@macintosh1257 @Dark Crow Example: level 1 ramparts in vanilla add fort_level, stationed_archers_damage_mult, stationed_skirmishers_damage_mult, stationed_skirmishers_toughness_mult, and travel_danger = -1. Where the modded version of level 1 ramparts adds all of those things as well, plus defender_holding_advantage and stationed_archers_toughness_mult. It more or less just makes places much harder to siege, even at lower levels. Is it immersive? I'm not sure, though i feel that even basic walls not giving defensive bonuses in vanilla is weird. Does it make sieging and attacking places harder, and defensive positions more important generally? Absolutely, and that is why I use it.

@macintosh1257 @Dark Crow What this mod does is add certain modifiers to certain buildings taht weren't there before. For example: macintosh1257 you mention defender advantage, but defender advantage only works if a certain building is taged as having defender advantage. In vanilla the Curtained Walls actually Do Not give you defender advantage until they are updated to level 5, whereas this mod adds it at level 1. Another thinkg this mod does is make certain units work better when defending than other units. While vanilla already does this, this mod adds more units and adds different advantages to units.

LOTR probably will have its own buildings compared to the vanilla game so probably not.

l think it does, since the mod makes it that, if your army is holding on province with Castle building, they get buffed and better battle advantage. But if you use that mod, l have a feeling that your not benefiting of this mod at all. Since the Battle update is, more an Text base battle? Is it not? And this is buffing the Battle advantage when holding in province, so. You do not literally get any benefits of having this mod on. What is a reason why l do no use Test base Battle mods

They do work in vanilla but only when someone is besieging your county and you attack them (as per wiki). This makes it that normal fights also account building defensive stats. However this mod has a problem. It only take 1 building defensive advantage and not multiple buildings sadly. Still a good mod though.

i mean i read it and it seems open to interpretation. could be that is adds buffs to the actual men at arms, it could be that it adds buff to holdings. I imagine its the former.
