hm.. per the wiki hegemony should be formable without the diplomacy tree with just the domination tree.

This mod seems broken?

I tried to form a federation with a subject/vassal, but the option for it was not there (had diplomacy/federations unlocked, and also completed the entire domination tree). Is this a bug/incompatibilty issue, or am I overlooking something? I put this mod down towards the end of the mod list.

I think keeping the ability to form federation behind the diplomacy traditions is something that should stay @Chewie2k

Okay thank you. What I meant was right now you need to unlock the diplomacy tradition option of making federations, then also the Domination. Id rather just be able to complete the Domination Tree.

I don't know what you mean, but I am waiting to see what patch 3.4 does with diplomacy before making changes to this. There's a chance Paradox will be modifying Hegemonies.

Hey could you make it so you don't need the diplomacy tradition tree? Since you already need the Domination tree.

It doesn't really address what is the biggest issue and that is that you are expected to do it by force and that means you will have many different empires. So so a universal effect of -35% loss of cohesion due to conflicting ethics with stage 2 adding an extra 25% to that. At stage 4 you could have that it eliminates cohesion loss due to conflicting ethics altogether except for if they conflict with the president one.

A hegemony is supposed to be one superpower dominating so agreements and similar values should be less important than other types.

Normally, you can't form a federation with anyone's subjects. This mod changes that so you can if it's your subject. It should be an option in your diplomacy menu with that empire. If it's grayed out, see what the error message is.

That is awesome but ... how the hell do you even start a hegemony? I have subjugated empires but I cannot form a federation with them.

@rctamiya
I've updated the description because apparently I forgot to add it before. Hives and Militarists can now form Hegemonies too. Previously it was just Authoritarians and Machine Servitors.

I would love if you could enable Hegemony for gestalts/hives too :D

Something that has always annoyed me is that you can't form a federation with a subject empire, even if you are that empire's overlord. That has now been changed in this newest version. You may now form a federation (any type) with one of your own subjects. You still cannot do this with some other empire's subject, for obvious reasons.

Simple reupload to mark this as still working with current game version.
