Have I missed something with respect to running this workshop? How does this incorporate the generator "upgrade" after being fixed with a steam core?

I'm just curious, but are there plans to turn the resources and minis into the ones from the Resource Expansion and the Miniature Expansion?

@Malek Brood - please reload the workshop after the players join. It's a TTS problem which is quite common. It should be fine after loading it the 2nd time, after the players are seated.

Can anyone please help. I am trying to play a 2 player game with my brother, but whoever joins and isn't hosting the server as a HUGE Retrieve Meeples button all across the middle of the screen making it unplayable for the person joining. This doesn't affect the host and we have both tried hosting and joining. Thanks in advance.

Are missing scenarios being planned?
Also, you should probably change the name of the game in the Info window, it shows on Steam that I'm playing GCU Playtest Grounds

@Jelon - TTS can sometimes have these issues. Try cleaning TTS cache and reload the workshop. This should help. Also you can try reloading the workshop while it's already open so it could download whatever is missing for you.

I wanted to check if the mod is complete, all looks great except fronts of citizen cards, it appears white. I can see the image in the "shadow" when holding the card, though. Do you know what could be the problem?

You are suppose to roll the dice to know how much coal you get has stress? what are the dice for

There is none in the TTS version. The dice are the balancing factor - although close to a physical version their outcome tends to be a little less demanding.

Where is the x for the generator? if get the stress cubes by unlocking the generator and moving it up though

hello everyone, i was gifted a physical copy of the game, but it's in German. i want to print the cards in English and insert them in sleeves with translation.

but the thing is that i can't find a PDF of all cards or something similar...

maybe someone could help with that?

@luischo - Try resetting your Cache in TTS Configuration Options.
1. Turn off - Mod Caching.
2. Reset TTS
3. Load Frostpunk Workshop module
4. Turn on Mod Caching then.

This just happens sometimes in TTS.

Hi, have problems to import the mod, some token is missing and can't load :( can anyone help?

My house rule for the generator upgrade is to add a third die. For 7 or less use the lowest die and for 8 or more use the median.

Any plan to make the other scenarios? Anyone who has all the scenario cards? or where i can found that?

@SkyStream, Meeple's on expeditions are always heated as per the Deploy Scout action in the book. The beginning of the action phase in the rulebook has an italics section that states meeples on expeditions count towards your total.

I have a question about Expeditions the in-script book don't answer.
Do Meeples out on Expeditions count as "in the supply" during the Preparation and Night phase?
aka: do you need heating for the Meeples out on expeditions at Night (I... don't believe so? But confirmation would be nice)
and: do you have to put a new Meeple in the supply for each Meeple out on expeditions during the Preparation phase before re-adjusting it down after an expedition ends? (that one, I absolutely do not know)

I feel kinda dumb, but how do I place coal in the generator?

maybe subtracting 1 from the die rolls, to a minimum of 1, would be a good house rule for when you add the extra 'coalcatcher piece' to the tower in the physical game.

Hi, I'm wondering if the other scenarios will become available in the future. I've played quite enough of A New Home, and I'd like to try out the missing scenarios such as Tesla City and Winterhome. Though the PDFs are accessible and can be replicated with substitutes, it would be wonderful to have a scripted setup. It's a beautiful game.

I may be biased as a fan of the video game and all of it's dlc but this game is the most fun I've had on the tabletop in a long time. Alas it is a hefty game to setup on the table and while a solo game can be completed in an hour or so for sure, It has a hefty time demand when you include setup. Playing the game on TTS is just glorious! Please, please, please add all of the scenarios in this scripted format!

They got 1 Advisor each and divide responsibilities among themselves as evenly as possible.

Well house rules are to make it more fun for you so anything works ;)

I guess you could apply a nice house rule - you could always take lower number from 2 dice roll. That should represent fewer coal cubes falling to the drawer.

Fun fact: when playing a physical version you can build a tower with coal cubes stacking on Generator upgrade, but its strongly not-recommended :D

You can't unfortunately. There's no upgrade part in TTS, however you still get to remove all the Stress cubes from the Stress track.

Great game and great mod 👍 How do you handle the generator upgrade with dice and the bag? Did I miss the instructions somewhere in the mod?

yes! thank you, i played it right it seems :) i tried a few survival runs with the Dreadnought and rushing 3 steel and building 3 upgraded hunting huts or sawmill and kiln seem to work really fine, as long as the sickness isn't getting out of hand.

You gain 1 Steel per "Building Action" on a Dreadnought tile. Thematically you are dismantling the Dreadnought for Steel, however the Dreadnought tiles remain untouched - only the action is taken (1 per tile).

In the Night Phase you will take all the Meeples back to the Supply allowing the Dreadnought tiles to be used again on the next Round.

While i wait for the game to be back in stock: When playing the dreadnought scenario you can gain 1 steel with a whole building action - so far so good. The game states, that you dismantle the components and a component yields 2 steel (looking at the 8 steel chips for the 4 components). So.. if i dismantle the dreadnought (1 steel shown on the tile) and gain 1 steel (what the rules clearly say), is the whole component dismantled and i have to move on to the next tile, OR will the remaining steel of the components respawn next or even this turn and i can use another meeple to extract it? If i would only be able to extract a total of 4 steel from the whole dreadnought, why are there 8 mentioned steel-chips? Then again, why is there only 1 steel depicted on the dreadnught-tile? Thanks in advance ^^'
