A lot of the ground nodes have no connections, some are missing connections. For example, ground NPCs that come from the south side of the map have to circle around the edge of the map to approach from either the east or west side of the map because the the inner nodes on the south are disconnected from the outer nodes that make a path to the central platform.

The abstractness of your maps is fantastic! It's honestly a bit unsettling being alone on this map and just hearing the endless void calling your name...

@Purps Thanks! Yeah I worried about the skybox size a bit, it definitely would be nice to have a bit more breathing room, it's just that the map itself is essentially as large as the Hammer editor will allow; I could probably only add a hundred or so units in each direction, or shrink the planet a little. I had to go through and texture/detail the main platform 2 separate times, due to a weird lighting issue with the original texture combination I had, and issues with the curved trim (which still isn't perfect). I enjoyed putting the stairs together, and I think they ended up being one of the nicer additions in the end.

I appreciate the kind comments from all of you. I've been a bit busy lately and I've been having a hard time thinking of good responses to your comments. :steamfacepalm: Although talk is supposedly cheap, I can still honestly appreciate it, it is a good motivator. Thank you.

@Baeddan The button on the left (the one with the arrow going through the circle) toggles an infinite-looping of anything that falls from the bottom to the top of the skybox, while the one on the right (the arrows in the box with a line cutting them off) toggles the kill barrier at the bottom of the map, which typically destroys everything (silently killing players) and is on by default. The last button on the opposite side just toggles the toggleable door in the floor.

omg sorry for commenting again so soon, but you added the extra nodraw stuff on the stairs. I know this is a small detail but I really appreciate it. Great attention to detail is all I can put into words haha

@Kil-Bii It just kills the player without leaving a ragdoll or leaving a death-message. I know it's a bit jarring, sorry for the confusion! You can disable it in the admin room in the walls of the main platform if need be.

@Kil-Bii It calls KillSilent as opposed to Kill, it should function the same though for the most part. You should be able to respawn as you would normally, in my case I believe using the mouse buttons will let you respawn.

When I fall into the bottom of this map, suddenly I 'disappear'ed. I didn't die, but I couldn't use any weapon, couldn't respawn, and couldn't escape by noclipping. Even console command 'kill' couldn't help me.
