Not all armour can be dyed.
Very old kenshi bug, when you start a new game while a game is in progress, there is a chance to get some empty towns, not related to any mods.
Importing will help.
Armour that has been dyed will not be dyed another color, try using a clean white holy chest plate.
the dyeing village is empty, and i wonder why. should i import?
Mouse over the fainted person and right click. Maybe you need to be more familiar with the basic operation of the game.
Of course they will fall, otherwise how can you put your own armour on them?
They are extremely strong, so don't worry.
Only some armours can be dyed, if you are not sure which armours are dyeable, it is recommended to watch what I wear for the paints.
For example, Holy Chest Plate is the most typical dyeable armour.
High enough assassin skill (and Assassin's Rags). Inverted Holy Lord is my favorite color, so I treat it as a challenging reward and use Samurai Police as a substitute until I'm strong enough.
Inverted Holy Lord is the barman himself — yes, he can't be ordered to be in a coma, so this is indeed the hardest color to get.
The paints are strong, so it shouldn't be killed by bandits, but some kind of mod conflict that I can't understand. I guess importing once will fix it.
Generally, what we can buy is Samurai Armour, which has no dyeing function. Some npcs will wear Empire Samurai Armour (with the logo of UC on their chest), which can be faded and dyed in other colors.
I just tested it once and found no problem. Maybe it's a bug of the game engine itself, try importing it?
