Guys, the mod still works. Just ignore the warning. The author basically only removed a bunch of provinces, so there's no reason why the mod wouldn't work. I just loaded it up, Australia and Micronesia are empty but there are two playable tags in New Zealand for example (which were added in Leviathan patch after the mod was released).
If you have OCD or something, just open .mod file in notepad and change the line to supported_version="1.33.3"
if that makes you feel better. But the mod will work regardless.

Amazing mod, even with the ruination of many mission trees due to disappearance of key provinces. Game runs fast, exciting and sooooo satisfying. Work on this mod my friend, with enough love this is a WINNER

Hello idk if this has been mentioned yet but I've been running into diplomats not returning (getting stuck at returning in 0 days. I believe this is an issue with the diplomats coming from provinces that (no longer exist) otherwise I absolutely love this mod and its quite possibly the one I can't live without HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

EU4 is now Risk but with a more complex combat system and an economy.
This is what peak perfomance is like.

this mod would unironically be perfect if you only reduced provinces by like 40-60%% in every continent other than eurasia

this map seems okay, albeit it might have some flaws, ill try it out, a good mod would be bringing province number back to base game on launch.

5 province Korea with disgusting borders that doesn't even represent 8 large provinces of Korea & names that don't even follow the same 8 provinces

Haixi's Jilin province splits Jianzhou in half

Japan having the same issue as Korea (provinces don't allign with regions / have city names instead of regional ones)

Balkans. Literally a province that looks like Albania but given to Venice while Albania is scrapped, ggs.

Remember, this isn't like old Eu4 where base tax was everything to a province (oh god, that was a reality). Province density actually matters in making regions wealthy since it gives more land to potentially develop & put flat modifier buildings on.

Also would be cool if you got rid of annoying states with 1 province in it. Like merge smaller ones together so that every state had at least 3 provinces.

Nice mod, but can you fix missions? I can't complete any of them because it requires me to own provinces that don't exist.

And not only did you not fix Moldavias provinces to be along the river, but you changed Wallachia's?

So yea I will make suggestions to a few regions that will:

1) Make some areas more accurate
2) All provinces are derived from vanilla
3) Same amount of provinces in each region (example: India has 64 provinces in your suggestion, so I will make sure that there will be exactly 64 in my suggestion)

Its like you went to the provinces map, picked whatever province and made that the area province, ignoring national boundaries, and whether that province was important or not. except in Western Europe where it looks decent

I like the idea of less provinces, but you kinda put them in a haphazard way..

Like why Kashan instead of Isfahan?
The two Hausa provinces should be Katsina and Kano
The Tuscan province should be Florence
and the Balkans, India, Japan are complete disasters

Started up a game as Byzantium, Ottomans have 0 starting troops. Good stuff so far though.

Reminds me of older EU games (and EU4 at release version).
