I added the extradimensional physics researchers civic as a gestalt, and the dimensional researchers need consumer goods even though civ is a machine intelligence.

It gives a -90% defensive plataform build cost, so if you have anything that also reduces build cost it becomes free. Defensive plataforms are so bad so if you want to spam them you can, but mind the upkeep.

When enabled civic_op_precursor_turtle, the defensive platform can be built for free! Each defensive platform improvement is also free of charge.

Looks like these traits are now not valid for new empire creation, even player-created empires.

I think if you set ai_weight to 0 like this:
ai_weight = {
weight = 0
}
on all species traits it should not be picked by the ai but idk.

Ethics and Civics Classic 3.0 which is one of the mods I am currently using has a small problem the civics and authority are basically randomized

I think your mod and the code changes that it induces may be causing this problem

so can I ask you to take a bit of your time and troubleshoot with the creator of the Ethics and Civics Classic 3.0 mod

I would make it so an AI empire can't be randomly generated with these traits and civics thus forcing the player to create a preset empire that is set to always spawn if they want to go up against an AI with these traits and civics.

They are traits to increase trait points so you can get Ancient using only this mod

Any AI can use any of these traits & civics as long as they have enough trait points and meet the criteria.

Will the AI use these? I mean in non prebuilt Empires or will randomly generated races and Empires use these as well?
