ok at base value this music pack doesn't fit to well for terraria even with the calamity texture pack (too bright), BUT with the new world seed The Constant... this music becomes much more fitting so... if you are gonna to a run of The Constant world see I fully recommend this music along with the Calamity texture pack (or any texture pack that makes the tiles seem darker in theme.)

there are music pieces that I fully agree as to where they fit in but some I would have to say are too dark sounding for a game like Terraria...

Try using the Calamity Texture Pack + This Music Pack or Swap out Calamity with Tenebris or Jimmarm's Texture Pack, Really Sells the Atmosphere with this Pack

Nice! This goes great with mods that make the enemies and bosses creepier. Good stuff!

can you make it so each area plays the track specific to that area?

That's actually a cool idea. Not as good as you describe, but some kind of map with mods like sounds, music, level system, maybe new bosses, etc.

oh I know, I was asking if you knew of anyone working on it or planning to, but I guess not. One day maybe, would be crazy awesome, especially Diablo 2 with the 4 chapters, forest/fields, desert, jungle, mountain and hell with all the levels and bosses. The real time killer would be changing all the world block sprites and making the actual locations haha like the den of evil cave, turning the castle dungeon into the witches tower, and changing all the bosses and their spawn locations, matching up all the ambient sounds, music etc it would basically be making an entire game as far as hours of work, so I don;t expect it, but maybe in 10 years someone will finally say "guess what I've been doing in my spare time for the last decade!!!"
