As far as I can tell, yes. You would have to make a "wavebank" resource pack that only changes that particular sound effect.
You'd be best just searching how to do this though, as trying to find something for this just gave me results for threads asking if it's possible to do it.

That's actually pretty cool, though now I think maybe that would be best done with a separate mod. Zoologist's werefox dialogue can be rather silly and I like getting to see both throughout my game.

You can change the text files based on what I've seen from the kobold mod for goblins, don't know how's it's done but it IS possible

I ran into some issues while testing the update, but found out it's *very* likely a vanilla issue, so it should be fine now.
If anyone gets a crash while using the resource pack, first enable the resource pack, then load your world.
However if you load your world, go back to main menu, then enable the resource pack, and load your world afterwards, it'll cause an issue with Terraria's Garbage Collector process which leads to a crash. You shouldn't have to worry about anything if you launched and the resource pack is already enabled.

Hopefully the icon looks good though.

Actually her werefox head is slightly larger (by one pixel, really), which means I can't make a good edit to replicate the outline map icons get while also fitting her werefox head into the canvas size for her default icon. I'd have to cut off one pixel from her sprite, and that might not look good at all.
It's still possible but I don't think there would be a good outcome of it. I'll still give it a try though.

Her map icon doesn't seem to ever change to the werefox form as far as I know, so I can't quite make an easy replacement. I might be able to make a quick edit but idk.
