You'd be best just searching how to do this though, as trying to find something for this just gave me results for threads asking if it's possible to do it.

If anyone gets a crash while using the resource pack, first enable the resource pack, then load your world.
However if you load your world, go back to main menu, then enable the resource pack, and load your world afterwards, it'll cause an issue with Terraria's Garbage Collector process which leads to a crash. You shouldn't have to worry about anything if you launched and the resource pack is already enabled.
Hopefully the icon looks good though.
if this is good enough I could update the resource pack with this (and hopefully not mess up the whole thing royally in the process)
It's still possible but I don't think there would be a good outcome of it. I'll still give it a try though.
IMO it's not that good but you might want to look around there
