I have installed this mod now, and I am on the latest patch 1.34.5. And I can confirm the mod is working as expected. The annoying subsription banner is gone.

I did not edit the .mod file as explained in an earlier comment. Just plug-and-play and it is all good. Just want to add that this is my only installed EU5 mod as of this time.

Lol, i thought this was a mod that enables ALL DLCs, not disable ads, my bad.

I think I found a way to make this work for people who are on 1.33 (and presumably will work for future patches as well). In your file navigator/explorer go to "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\2430179723". This is the mod folder for this. Open up the "descriptor.mod" file with notepad and find this line:

supported_version="1.31.6"

change it to:

supported_version="1.33.*"

or insert the current major patch "1.xx.*". This will remove the "outdated mod" warning in the launcher and also seems to make it work properly.

Yeah, sadly I'm no modder, I literally just changed a few lines of code and the message disappeared. Not sure what they changed or if I did anything wrong, but I couldn't get it to disappear again.

If it gets remade by somebody, I will close it in about a two week notice.

I can confirm it did not work anymore today. It's a minor thing but Paradox eternal greed is something I do not need to be reminded of every time I launch the game. Thanks for this mod.

I've been using this mod still for the entire time 1.31 has been out and it still works perfectly fine for me
