Is there any way you can make this so that the player is able to do this? Essentially this in reverse; AI can build colonies but player governs directly? Thanks!

It is any chance that I can change in choose window to AI not colonise Central and South America ? In your mod is North and Central America.
Mostly I play as Portugal, so that would be ok to me. That why I ask What I need to Edit? If is no problem to ask ;)

@bfigiel The mod simply destroys illegal colonies owned by an AI country be it colonial, custom, or vanilla tag. So most likely yes.
