Reasons why this isnt updated. It's author's preference. Have you seen the new essentials? It's a worst inventory with a horrible item sorter, it doesnt even sort rare and unique items properly, sometimes you will see a normal item above a unique or blue(why). The latest essentials moved the boss names above the health bar in smaller almost unreadable text format. This version is better and stable, only benefit of the newer essentials are those new mod classes.

Is this a better fit to Synergies than "Torchlight II Essentials" {LINK REMOVED}(https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=138228035)?

Is this updated ? Also, how the hell did you played with the normal essentials instead of this ? . All I get are nasty bugs/crashes which tells me they are not compatible at all.

Can you remove "permanenet stats potions".
It kind of makes it like a "god" mode.

I already have a playthrough with the normal essentials mod and Synergies going on, does switching mid playthrough make me lose items or anything like that?

Also, how badly do you need this version over the original for synergies?

he added some mods that changed how the inventory works now i believe its split into 5 smaller i believe he stated it somewhere what was affecting it but i can't seem to find that post. it only does it the first time you add the new mod but that still is awful.

@MuddFoot Thanks for the feedback, i'll look into those issues. Do you know what is causing the inventory issues by chance?

SynergiesMOD which you need to look into whenever you can. 1) Soulcrafting seems to be broken, not sure why Essentials is conflicting with it. 2) Fame level cap is lower than the 50 from SynergiesMOD, can you do something about it?

To get rid of the new fame levels from Essentials remove this data file: MEDIA \ GRAPHS \ STATS \ FAMEGATE.DAT

For the soul crafting, the recipe thats getting in the way is: MEDIA \ RECIPES \ TRINKET2GEM.DAT

Be careful when Lone Wolf Mcquade updated the modpack he ended up wiping everyones inventories and also made inventories smaller if you have to put TLE belowe synergies.

@MuddFoot I plan on taking a look at updating this mod in the coming weeks, any help identifying what issues there are would be greatly appreciated.

@Nocturnal Warfare: From what little I can gather, the compatibility issue is not fixed. And from comments below, there may or may not be some new compatibility issues introduced? I haven't personally seen those issues, but I haven't updated my mods in a long while (and I've forgotten how to, Steam doesn't seem to automatically update my loaded mods?)

@Zauber Paracelsus I can but has anyone tried to see if they fixed the compatibility issues with the recent updates. There may no longer be a need for this fix anymore.

Any plans to update this mod? I see it was last updated in September 2014, but both Torchlight 2 Essentials and SynergiesMod have been updated within the last two months. Torchlight 2 Essentials has included some new mods, such as Arkham's Armory.

I cant pick up equipments, when I have this mod enabled. Any solution for that bug?

This mod doesn't solve the conflict between the bags added in Synergies/Essentials. My inventory and some of the pages of my stashes get wiped, and there are no buttons to switch between pages of the stash. Good thing I backed up my game but it's a shame I can't run these two great mods together.

This mod breaks many character skills ie. death's bounty. Best to avoid this mod.

@Star-X yeah go ahead that's how I made this by combining multiple pre existing mods

I hope it's OK, I made a version of this without Better Blood Effects. Lone Wolf McQuade already said it was OK for his version, I just wanted to double check with your team for the Synergies compatible version.

After installing this and synergies mod, from the start to the beginning of the water spirit temple, its been intense battles with hordes so large my framerate drops a little. every time you finally have a moment to catch your breath it feels earned.

Sorry, I take that back, after clearing all the data and just using synergies, it appears to be an issue with the latest synergies mod.

Love the Mod, but I am seeing a bug/exploit, I have narrowed it down to this mod as I have tested this with only this mod and synergies running in my mod order. If you buy the respec potion off the vendor, I am seeing it return extra skill points, it is possible my saves are bugged from a previously used mod, but I thought I would bring this up, the characters I tested this on were mid 50s returning 6 extra skill points.

Is it compatible with newest Synergies? v1324

@Ant_ombie Yes, this a rework of Torchlight 2 Essentials, there is no need to put the original in your load order. In regards to your second question, even if you are no longer subscribed, it may still be downloaded on your computer so either leave it there, and there is no need to enable it, or you can go to your documents folder, then my games, then runic games, then torchlight 2, then mods, and you can delete the Torchlight 2 Essentials folder from there.

Quik question, if i install this do i have to install Tl2 essentials also? or is this a reworked version. Also in my load order Tochlight 2 essentials is there do i enable it? even though its not in your load order and im no longer subscribed to it

@MickeyTJR This mod does not directly modify the Synergies files, it makes the files from Torchlight 2 Essentials mod pack and makes them compatible with Synergies. So I will only update if either TL2 Essentials updates or if the Better Sorting for Synergies compatibility patch updates.

I don't quite get how to read load orders people post for TL2. Is the load order in your description written the way it should look in the modlauncher (meaning: far east 2 loaded first and retex loaded last) or is far east loaded after everything else(the other way around)?
