trouble winners in early competition league..great!
i just using -overload with -very fluid phases and my team sucessful win all the game
Good work for sure
I experimented with this tactic for about 10 games. I have played with my team for over 7 seasons now and my players are rated minimum four stars with mostly 15 or higher passing stats.
With this tactic, I was outmanned in the middle as your attacking options are forced to go wide and utilise crosses more as there is a lack of support from your midfielders to provide a passing option.
I decided to tweak the tactic by replacing the extra centreback with a defensive midfielder playing short passes to the central midfielders. I also utilised attacking fullbacks with high stamina who cover the space behind the wingers.
My changes resulted in a greater balance defensively and offensively. Fullbacks provide more cover for centrebacks and play a supporting role for the wingers. Ball retention is higher as the wingers have more options to pass to in the centre of the pitch.
I also got to the Capital One Cup Semi-Final :)
You people that are moaning obviously haven't put the right type of player in each position, or your training schedule is rubbish.
I walked the Serie A with this, had the best defence in the League, and scored the most amount of goals scored, lost 3 games all season. and Won the Italian Cup.
With this you can have 1 more player who's more technically skilled.
Anyways, i also apriciate negative feedback, if it is constructive.
I've tried the tweak, and ist absolut amazing, working wonders for my Münster team.

A couple of screens showing my progress towards promotion to the Bundesliga. As for match preparation: Against stronger teams to can't go wrong with defending set pieces, weaker teams get attacking set pieces oder attacking movement.
But this tactic I've learnt a lot from using this, by looking at individual player instructions etc so I'm going to try and make a 4-5-1 tactic using simular instructions which I think will work.
But thanks so much for this wonderful tactic ;)
Klar, nimm Dir alles was Du brauchst oder hilfreich findest.
@Thagesen: As Accipiter said, it is all about passing and possession,a pure tank-striker would ruin your offense. Most of the time your team use the flanks if the center of the field is crowded and vice versa.
@Training
after your team has adopted this tactic, Ball Control is the crucial factors. For Match Training, Teamwork and Att. Movement are beneficial. Also most of your Players have to learn their Role on the pitch.
Once your players have learned the tactic you won't get into many situations where the enemy team has a chance to score. Aggressive opponents will also be late for the tackle quite often, collecting a 2nd yellow cards or just give your AP a good spot for a free kick.
@Training
If you have a reserve first team right footed winger who can only play on the right flank you should set him a new role as a left winger. If you have a youngster forward in your under 19 squad which is fast and agile set his focus to become a Trequartista. For general training you should aim for a good passing play. If you lose the ball against offensive teams with fast forwards you will get overrun in second like Madrid did with Munich in this years CL.
Some of you, who have had great succes with this formation, can you please be more detailed about this tactic.
Thanks.
Just place your players as requested by Peak and use the highlight feature to see which stats are vital for your Treq (since in most cases you won't have one) and choose the forward with high passing and the best overall kit. Don't forget to train your subs/reserve towards their new roles and DON'T switch to something like attacking/overload if you receive a goal. It's all about patience.
