I will look into it, even though i still don't know what happened... guess a game update that breaks the mod so, yea. Maybe later today, don't know for sure
Do you always get the same Error message?
btw, you only said you validated your files, did you also reinstall the game?
Do you have any custom start settings?
What platform are you playing on (Linux/Windows)?
I think i won't be able to fix your problem but maybe there is something different with your installation.
I play normal, without any start settings on windows 10 Version 21H2

this implies that my mod would have changed something in a soundfile which is not the case for this mod. The only files that have been changed are the bosses config files in which i changed exactly one value.
No files removed
No files added
Try to validate your game files or try to reinstall the game with the mod subscribed.
Since i don`t have that problem and i can`t reproduce it i can`t really help except for telling you this.
