I have a question, I updated your mod, and I would like to know if you will mind. I also wanted, even though I'm not very experienced, try to add some of your ideas to the mod.

@Yes. I have tons of ideas (more like fantasies) of where I theoretically "could" take the mod, with more unique buildings, custom event chains,... but I'm not an experienced modder, even just changing holy sites and minor localization turned up more bugs than I could fix. However if you are a fan of british history/culture there was an extensive CK2 Mod called "Western Europe 410-962 - The Winter King" which did an excellent job on a map of Britain and France, and I think they're working on a CK3 version of that which will be so much better than anything I could come up with.

I don't care about the British island culture, just because the UK is small enough, otherwise there is only Rome in the west the glory culture can be proud of

A lot of us do want this mod to be updated. I for one do not really care about the rest of the map. Britain has such a rich history with multiple cultures, ways of life and religions clashing on the soil. If you ever plan on updating and or expanding, maybe some remnants of the Roman Roads on the land textures could be a cool thing.

No pressure, just wanted to know. Take your time, just know that I will happily see your return :D

No promises but it's likely I'll get back to it eventually because I still like the idea of a smaller map (no vasals going on random conquests, less bordergore), but the "principality" issue and some bugs in localization will take some effort to fix and I don't have much time or energy to work on it currently. Just don't hold your breath. No ETA

sorry guys don't have a lot of free time to work on these mods but I can quickly explain how they work so you can easily make it yourself. (It's what I did when I found a Europe only Mod and wanted it to be even smaller)

All you have to do is in Crusader Kings III\game\common\landed_titles\00_landed_titles.txt with Notepad++, Sublime or any Text Editor, put a "#" before or delete any titles you don't want on the map. In my case that was all the De Jure Empire titles other than Britain (I also copied Iceland and the Northern Isles Duchies into the Britain Empire title).

If you want to keep the pope and other special titles you have to leave them in there, but that's basically it. With no title referenced in this .txt file the title doesn't exist on the map. So you can shrink the playable map to any size you want.

Your mod is really a very good idea. When you only show Britain, the computer runs very fast. Please make a map mod showing only Ireland or only Iceland. Thank you for your outstanding work

Finally got around to changing the holy sites. Sorry for it being so late. Also added a Kingdom for Iceland and the Northern Isles. Let me know if there's any issues.

For holy sites, British suitable provinces will suffice. The only things I could think of would be dublin for norse, as without the main holy sites, major colonies would instead be places for the norse.

With regards to holy sites, would you suggest I just put holy sites on British provinces of my choosing? I'd still want British Catholics to be able to go on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land (off-map basically) but I guess I could replace Santiago and Cologne with suitable British alternatives (suggestions welcome). Same basic thing with Norse. Do you have any other religions in mind? These two seem to be the most relevant to Britain to me.

I'll likely won't be able to work on the holy sites until next week, just a heads up.

I like using it cause of the small map, though it still seems to heat up the laptop I play this on, wish it could remove the rest of the world and leave the map as britain, though thats maybe a project in itself.

Do you think anything could be done about religious holy sites? most religions in the mod save for insular have only one.

@ZemogB I see, likely they updated the map. I'll see if I can update the mod quickly tomorrow in case anyone want to still use it.

Surprised nobody has reported this, but several provinces in ireland and scotland and iceland are missing with the latest update.
